Dang, I ordered 13 minutes after you and mine is still "Not yet shipped." Although it's still saying Delivers on June 24th, so I'm remaining confident.
Nothing yet for meI ordered 4:35 pm PDT. I know I shouldn't but I'm worried....

You shouldn't be worryed. When apple shipped the pre-orders for the iPad everyones order updated at odd times even those who ordered early in the day. So it seems like the iPhone orders are doing the same.
Ordered from Apple.com at 3:00 PM CST on 6/15 and am now prepared for shipment. Contract date is updated on AT&T.com, but have not received CSS email.
Okay I am in the Logistics and Distribution business and I know several of the folks who manage the DCs that are shipping the iPhone for Apple. Believe me, Apple launches are a very big deal for the people on the distribution side. Here is what happens:
About a week before the launch date, there is a flood of 53 foot parcel trailers that enter the gates of the Distribution Center. At that point, orders are released to the warehouse and product begins to flow through the outbound process.
The final steps in that process are packaging of your phone in a shipping box with the accessories that you ordered, a packing list is printed and placed in the box, then it is sealed up. Once this is done, it is manifested to the parcel carrier (address and weight info sent, tracking number returned), the parcel shipping label is applied, and it is sent down a gravity feed conveyor into the parcel trailer.
When you see the status of 'Prepared for Shipment' it means that it has made it through that process, and it is sitting on a shipping trailer at the Distribution Center. You actually have a tracking number assiigned right now, but you wont get it until the trailer actually leaves the Distribution Center.
So if you have seen this status change, it is very good news, indeed.
As far as gettng it early, no chance. There is a private security firm on-site that will prevent ANY of the trailers from leaving. The sealed trailers themselves are sequestered in their own part of the yard so they are easier to manage.
So the next thing that you should expect to see is a shipping confirmation, probably starting early afternoon on the 23rd. This will indicate that the trailer has left the DC and is on it's way to the parcel hub for sorting. Then you'll get the standard tracking updates after that.
If you have not had your status change yet, dont worry. They will continue the fulfilment process well into the day on the 23rd.
By the way... happy to see that mine changed... ordered through Apple on the 15th 7PM Eastern.

Do you guys know what I have to do so that they don't need a sig to deliver? I'll be at work during the shipping time and I don't want them to take it back to the warehouse.
Thanks

Someone else asked this on here, but no one answered. I ordered two phones on the same Apple account. One is for me and the other is for my husband. I recieved the e-mail from AT&T and my upgrade eligibility has changed. Mine is also prepared for shipping.
However, my husband's is not, still "able" to upgrade, and no e-mail. On my e-mail, since we are on a family plan, it had his information on there on as well (my activation fee was waived and his wasn't).
I am not worried as of yet since it is early and Apple did pre-authorize my card for both, but I was wondering if anyone that has ordered two on the same account is only showing one as prepared and the other as not. Also, any help from past 3GS pre-orders would help.
