apple.com iphone 4 order!! goes from not shiped to prepared for shipment!!!!!

Still says not yet shipped for me. I pre-ordered at around 6:50 pm Pacific. Anyone know if the status change is based on location, say east coast shipments are prepared first, then west coast? I'm in Los Angeles.

I was just happy to finally get the Order Acknowledgement email on Thursday.

Still states delivery for the 24th.

My status has changed to 'Prepared for Shipment' as well. AND I had changed my shipping address after the order so it would come to work that day. Man am I psyched!

That's good news. Hope the shipping address change doesn't cause any delays for you. I changed mine but then changed it all back. Gonna "work" from home that day and wait for mine to be delivered.

It won't ship until Monday, and then they'll hold it at FedEx or wherever until the release date. Don't get too excited.
