apple.com iphone 4 order!! goes from not shiped to prepared for shipment!!!!!

I posted this somewhere... but I wanted it here. I ordered mine from Apple.com at 7:31pm PST and was in the gap where it said on the site June 24 but in my confirmation email it said July 2. I just had my status change to "prepared for shipping"! There is hope for some of us July 2s.
Yes, it took me 2 days to get my order acknowledgement too!!! I was freaking out. Now, I haven't got my CSS nor has my status been changed on Apple. I ordered at 5:16 PST on 6/15.

Not sure exactly when but it did today. I preordered at 9:10am EST. Looking forward to it landing on my desk at work on Thursday. That and the world cup equal not a whole lot of work going on.

My status hasn't changed but no worries. The time of day that ordered probably has no bearing on when your status will change.
Its probably based on their logistics plan, group phones that are going to the same zipcode together, etc.

Then both of mine should be prep for ship, only one is.
It's going by time of when you did your order.
honestly looks to me like they're doing the 16GB models now, and the 32GB models will follow shortly thereafter.
Mine is 32GB and was one of the first to report prepared for shipment, so no. I don't think so.

Still no change in my status. I ordered (32GB) from apple at 6:08 AM PDT. My order acknowledgement arrived 12 hours later and I'm on the east coast. Delivery still says June 24. Anxiously waiting as this will be my very first iphone!

Look everyone, it is physically impossible to prepare for shipping 600K products at one time. It will take several days. You will have your phone on the 24th. No one is going to get early delivery unless the delivery driver is trying to get fired. So just chill. It's all good.
