apple.com iphone 4 order!! goes from not shiped to prepared for shipment!!!!!

Yep these are all Apple orders, well I believe majority of them, which is why their statuses are changing. Just our luck our AT&T status will update AFTER we've gotten the phone.

I'd actually be okay with this - I'd stress prior to the delivery, but then when I got the phone I'd be so excited that all would be forgiven. :: sigh ::

Nothing has changed on my AT&T order page but my charge dropped off. I called to make sure everything was on track and the woman assured me my phone will be delivered on the 24th!

I have a similar experience. I purchased mine on Tuesday through AT&T and I had a charge appear on Wednesday. That charge has since disappeared. I do notice that my phone is showing up in the QTY ORDERED column and not the QTY BACK-ORDERED. I hope that this means that I am in the first wave.

I think Not Yet Shipped is better than Prepared for Shipment, and some of you were downgraded. In either case it's not shipped, and it makes more sense that the step after prepared would be Not Yet Shipped, or in other words, "it's all ready to go, we just gotta put on the truck."

Yea no update here. 4.20pst. I did get my CSS from AT&T though.

I managed to get my order in via Apple.com around 6:45PM CDT (so, about 1/2 an hour after you), and mine's still "not yet shipped," but I also got my CSS from AT&T today.

Sorry, man. As someone who just recently ordered a MBP from Apple, "Prepared for Shipment" comes after "Not Yet Shipped" and right before "Shipped."

That was the big problem last year ordering my 3GS from AT&T. The status was wrong until it showed up at my door. The damn thing said processing the whole time. I am going to have a stroke waiting if it happens again. Argh!
