My guess is by reference number using your phone number.

Ive tried by phone number, order id, and email. No luck yet

Pending charge hit my CC as well. But I don't expect it to mean anything. I.e. Seriously doubt iPhone xmas will come early for me.

I got the dreaded Payment problem message when I logged into check my order. Input the CC info again and it says successful. Still makes me nervous.

Me too. I used apple pay on the phone to order and the CC company says the expiration date was wrong (which is weird, since I've used it at stores with no issue) . Got it updated and everything seems kosher.

Just got a pending charge on my USAA MC (Apple Pay)! Last year, the 17th was the day it went to Preparing for Shipment. Maybe this year too!

So, I pre-ordered at 3:06am. I used Apple Pay to order. A few days ago, I restored my phone and took it off beta. Guess what changed? You guessed it, the Apple Pay token.

I received an email from Apple saying my charge was denied. I went to the website and entered in my actual credit card number.

Why are you guys talking about planes coming from over seas? I thought the phones were assembled in CA. Why would they send the phones back over seas just to send them to us?
