Why are you guys talking about planes coming from over seas? I thought the phones were assembled in CA. Why would they send the phones back over seas just to send them to us?
"Designed by Apple in California" It's been a while since any Apple products were made in the US, with the exception of the current Mac Pro.

Finally seeing the charge to my Visa; order is still processing. Ordered my iPhone 6s+ RG 128GB about 12:15am and didn't get order confirmation until late afternoon. Delivers 9/25 :D

If everyone doesn't mind, from now on could you post with your order time so that we can see how far Apple is getting through the orders, if in any order? This helped with the Apple Watch preorders too.

iPhones leave Lantau Island and are flown out of Hong Kong or Shenzhen via Anchorage (or maybe thru Japan too) to US

Pending charged earlier today, ordered at 3:06 AM EST and received email at 3:17 AM, it sill shows processing items.

Ordered a contract free Space Gray 6s Plus 64gb at around 12:08 AM PDT. Credit card was charged today. Still shows as "Processing Items"

I should say that I live on the west coast of the US. Everything I've pre-ordered from Apple the last few years doesn't get updated to Preparing or to Shipped until the afternoon of the day before it arrives. The reason is because there is a huge warehouse in southern California that is stocked up on all the new products and they don't ship them up the west coast until the night before. So depending on where you live your Order Status maybe different than others. Doesn't mean your item won't arrive on time.

Order placed at 3:17am cst (17 min after pre order started) on Apple.com
PayPal confirmed at 3:17a cst. Apple processing email at 9:24a cst.

64 gb 6s plus on vzw.

At 2:51pm on 9/17 got an email from Apple saying that action was required (PayPal rejected it). I called Apple and within 10 minutes switched to a different card and was told that my date would not change and my order is back to processing and maintains 9/25 date.

Mine Still says processing delivery date of 9/25 no charge on card yet I used Apple Pay so not sure if it will take longer to show up. Order Confirmation email received at 9:12pm Hawaii time.

I did att next option on apple.com still
Shows processing/ ship arrival date 9/25.... I see a .99 pending apple/iTunes charge on my debit card. I don't see the full 59.43 tax I'm supposed to be charged

I hate to tell you all this but it doesn't matter when they charged your card. You are not going to get your new iPhone until the 25th . I ordered my new iPhone at 2:00pm on September 17th "that's today"and my card has a pending charge on it. If Apple is right I to will get it on the 25th.
But I can't wait for it to say your phone has shipped. lol

To be honest, I think most of us just like to see progress, even though we know our phones will definitely not arrive before the 25th.

Hey, we have nothing else to do. The best we can do is twiddle our thumbs and get excited at small things. :p

Exactly. It's just fun to see the progress from keynote to actually turning the new phone on. Something as small as a charge on our accounts is SOMETHING to help this two week process move a bit more fun. I'm not expecting to get the phone next Thursday, I'm waiting for next Friday but until then this is interesting.

I know that's why I'm here to.
I just thought I would have some fun.
