Apple.com: iPhone 6s / 6s Plus Order Tracking

The sales tax is pending on my card. I got my confirmation email at 3:28am FWIW. Hopefully I'll see preparing to ship very soon
 
I herd someone said last week at that Apple event. That their wife was in labor and they weren't going to the hospital till the iPhone's were announced! That's Crazy! Does a phone mean more to you than your child?!?

UPS has shipped every phone to me since the 4S. OThers have had FedEx. I don't know if there's a rhyme or reason as to who delivers, if it's based on location, method of order, etc. FTR, I normally order via the Apple Store app and live in central FL.
 
Pending credit card charge showed up! Still processing on the Apple order page. 9/25 still expected for 6s Space Gray 128GB
 
SO I purchased my phone at 3:03AM using Apple pay but two days later my phone went wonky and I had it replaced at apple, this changed the "Device Account Number" used to authorize my card, when Apple tried to charge my card using my old phones account number, it was declined! I had a minor heart attack but I just happen to check it and it asked for the card info again. All is well. Although I wish I used apple pay again with the discover card, that would have made the most sense! Stupid me.

Anyway, still in processing but the charge hit after I updated the CC information.

That last one fell into the 2-3 week window unfortunately. It's set for Sept 30 - Oct 6 delivery although I'm confident it'll get here by launch. The order window changed right when I ordered it.
 
I still haven't been charged for my phone. 3:07 am Eastern. 6S, grey, 64GB, ordered through apple pay.
I had my phone replaced by apple two days ago.
The preauthorization has gone through for my applecare. Apple support says since the applecare charge has been successfully authorized, the apple pay will not have an issue charging for the phone when it ships.

Since they have yet to ship them, nobody knows for sure.
What they did last year does not mean it will be the same this year.
Unless somebody knows about an EXCLUSIVE CONTRACT, you can expect either.

You can still check on apple.com to see if there was an issue, Some have needed to readd credit card information when using apple pay.

This is what happened to me, since I swapped my phone and readded my card, my device authorization number changed and my cc was declined when they tried to charge it. I was not notified, I just happen to login to my orders page and it was in huge letters at the top that there was an issue with payment.

EDIT: I was also told my Apple that I would have no issues even though the phone was swapped. Their chat people are useless sometimes.

For those of you who upgrade your phone every year. Why? Not being mean or anything, just wondering...
 
Ordered on apple.com ATT NEXT plan 12 @ 3:12am Eastern recieved Processing email from apple at 3:21am
estimated recieve on 9/25 ( shows stll processing)
Apple iPhone 6s Plus Gold 64GB
No pending charge to my debit card (credit union) for the tax
No .99/1.00 pending authorization either.
ATT app on my iphone shows installment plan details on the line I upgraded status: Pending
