If memory serves orders don't go to Preparing for Shipment and Shipped til the day before delivery. So expect to be Processing until around the 23rd or 24th. I think you'll see the UPS tracking info a few days earlier. I'll need to search for that link early next week.

128gb AT&T silver 6s+ ordered at 3:18 ET.

I checked to see when my 6+ was delivered last year - it was about 10am. I live pretty close to work. I wish I knew when they delver in my area. I knew at my last apartment.

Does anyone remember from last year approximately when during the day you received your phone?

Sorry... but this is a _____ question. It will come when the truck gets to your address. You do realize they deliver all day long and arrive at different addresses at different times. And it can vary from day to day.

What kind of UPS facility are you looking for when it comes to picking it up from them instead of having them deliver it to you?

As others said, it's best to have it held for pickup at their main hub. If you have it held for pickup at a small UPS Store, while it might be closer to your home or work, it might cause your scheduled delivery to be pushed back a day.

I work at a UPS hub, so I'll try and shed some light on this (side-note; I've only been there 10 months, so I'm not 100% sure on some hub operations).

At the hub where I work, there's a UPS Customer Center located right next to the main UPS hub. Basically, if a customer would like to hold their package for pickup, the loaders at the hub will get a loud, beeping message on their scanners that reads "INTERCEPT" as soon as they scan the package. This means that the customer wants the package to be held for pickup, so the loaders take the package out of the trailer and a "sweeper" comes by and grabs the package. From there, I'm not really sure what happens, but it gets transferred over to the Customer Center next door.

In theory, you may be correct in saying that having it shipped to a different UPS Store would delay pickup, because I'm assuming that would mean a UPS driver would have to deliver the package to that specific UPS Store, rather than just having the hub employees transfer it to the Customer Center next door. Now, I'm not sure how other UPS hubs are setup, so there may not be a Customer Center next to the main UPS hub.

Also, 128 GB Space Gray AT&T iPhone 6s in "Processing Items" currently. :D

Shipping to a different store will delay pick-up by one day if you change the shipping instructions to late.

Absolutely. I'm not sure how late/early one would have to be, but I assume it would have to be before preload here at the hub, since that shift loads the actual UPS delivery trucks. Typically this is done very early in the morning around 5 to 6 AM, which is why most people see their statuses updated to "out for delivery" around that time.

Processing and nothing added to my support profile yet.

For those who have UPS My Choice, can you request they keep it in their facility for pick up or is that not possible? UPS always comes very late for me, and I would like to get the phone early in the day.

I have a UPS Customer Center near me. All the packages go their first. I can "Hold" it there, and get it as soon as it opens. Try the UPS locator and look for the Customer Center for your location.

I had the best luck with sending packages from Apple to the UPS store closest to me when I couldn't be there for delivery.
I've been testing this all year just to make sure it would consistently work well because I want to have my iPhone sent to a UPS Store this year since UPS typically gets to my house late. I've had at least ten packages sent to a UPS Store that's just over a mile from my house. Every package was available before noon the same day they would have been delivered to my house later in the evening. I have a couple Apple leather cases that got there at 10:30 this morning and were immediately available that I'm about to go get.

For those who ordered the phone from Apple, does it not charge your card until it ships?? Or does it charge it the full amount right away?

This hasn't ever happened in my experience. However, having it delivered at the hub did cause my packages to be delayed by one day. That was two years ago. I switched to having them sent to the UPS Store last year and they all have been available the same day and available before noon, usually by 11:00. Today was 10:30. My local UPS hub doesn't even open until noon.

I was just saying that it "might" delay delivery. I saw a lot of people complaining last year that their delivery got delayed because they specified a hold at the ups Store. Just something for people to consider, or maybe ask UPS if it's important to them.

better thread to post this in. will changing the ship-to address for my 09/25 orders push the dates back?

I've had it held at the UPS hub with MyChoice for the past two years. I've been able to pick up around 8AM both times. Aside from about 6 or 7 people waiting for their phones, and thus taking a bit of time, it's gone smoothly.

Mine says processing and delivery for the 25th. Hopefully this doesn't change as I ordered the S Plus Space Grey 64GB asap as the preorders went live in the UK.

For tracking via reference number, you guys are saying to use a phone number. I bought mine unlocked, so what phone number should I use?
