It's a code in the serial number. Easiest way to pull it out is to use one of the lookup services.

Your phone would need to be in your support profile first. Once is there, look at the link just above your post and put your serial number in there, it will tell you.

This is the first flight from China -> Alaska to popup since the weekend. So it's looking good.

UPS77 departs from Shenzhen airport to Alaska in just under 4 hours. For those of us with iPhones still in China, this may be our flight!

I'm on the west coast. CA specifically. Could there be a correlation between the chinese city to where the flight is going? My phone is departing from zhengzhou so maybe it's delivering phones to west coasters?

Thats what I thought but was confused by UPS saying departure scan at 3:40.

Departure scan doesn't necessarily mean it left on a plane. It can just mean it left one part of Shenzhen for another. I.e. left the factory, may get an arrival scan at a depot at the airport.

Alaska where import/export papers are checked before entering into the mainland. Then to the UPS hubs where they wait.

Question about UPS shipment. I have found "a shipment" using the UPS search by reference tool by using my apple order number minus last two digits and it worked. The only thing is that it says:

Shipping Information
To:
PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY, US

Is that a like a UPS transfer facility, or did I find the wrong package as I am resident in the UK?
