Apple.com MacBook Neo 13" A18 Pro - Pre-release, Order And Delivery Thread

For some reason, the order information pages for the MacBook Neo and the MacBook Pro don't have the option to show the config anymore, while the MacBook Air ones have them.

Because of this and lots of other weird things that have happened over the years, I've always had the impression that the people who run the sales and the store site are not always chosen from the best in the field.
 
MacBook Neo Blush basic model. Ordered this afternoon. Delivery between 3/18-3/25 here in Canada. I haven’t owned a Mac since early 2016 so I’m very excited to now have everything Apple again!

Used the education discount so saved myself $120 CAD on this baby.

Got a 512GB Silver Neo on its way here on 11 March! Used my edu discount as a teacher, I'm excited to have this little guy in hand. Mostly got the bigger SSD to give more flexibility for how I'll use it over the next few years. I'm probably gonna be selling my M1 iPad Air since I haven't used it anywhere near as much as I thought I would - I much prefer a Mac and this little guy will hopefully be a delightful replacement.

I somehow completely missed this announcement, so I totally missed the boat on a launch day delivery. Ordered Pink with Touch ID this morning, to go along with my pink iMac and 16" MBP. This one will stay in my work backpack and go back and forth with me to the office (hybrid office/WFH schedule) so I'll always have a Mac with me. 🙂

Apple is still saying "preparing for shipment" but I have received a tracking number from UPS for delivery on March 11th. Mine is coming from the Apple distribution center in Clayton In.

Yes, this is common - Apple will be delayed. UPS My Choice will be the first to alert you of your package.

Glad to hear the Neos are shipping from stateside instead of from overseas which is always fraught with drama, delays, weather, lost packages, etc ...

UPS now shows a label has been created in Vietnam by “AI”. Package is 3 kilos. May be this or one of the other things I’ve ordered.

Still no update on Apple's website or UPS. UPS has shown that they have my package in Louisville Ky since 1:36 AM on the 7th

Curious, are you having it shipped to the US ?

Did you order anything else like an iPhone 17e ?

Still preparing to ship. Still no update on the Apple store or UPS app. Base silver supposed to arrive on the 11th.
 
I keep hoping to see an email from Apple saying it’s been shipped and somehow I’ll be getting it this week and not within two weeks.

Apple tracker does not show in real time - it's always delayed.

Best way to track if you are having it delivered in the US - UPS My Choice.

UPS will notify you as soon as the tracking number is assigned; often beating out Apple's tracker by a day.

I signed up for the optional Premium tier to allow for change of delivery or hold features without extra costs.

I’m not sure who delivers for Apple in Canada I think either UPS or FedEx I’ve never ordered anything directly from Apple before.

I'm beginning to think that UPS is not working today or their systems just aren't updating. I have a couple other packages from elsewhere that aren't showing any updates either.
