UPS is having some issues with their tracking. I just got off the phone with them (after fighting with AI to just talk to someone) and the person said my package is moving through the system and is still scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. But the UPS website and UPS app are both showing that it is still sitting in Louisville, KY.

Did I mention how much I hate AI when trying to call any customer service number.
I wouldn't worry, they still have about 24 hours to deliver your Neo.

Where is your local UPS center / hub in relation to Louisville ?

My packages normally go through the Columbia, Missouri hub which is about 2 1/2 hours west of St Louis.

The weird thing is I had a package delivered by UPS this morning and received tracking information for it without a problem.

I'd wait a bit for tracking info to catch up.

Since it's already at the huge UPS facility with tons of aircraft to carry it near your location, most likely they are trying to figure out which pallet goes on what plane.

With iPhone deliveries, I used to follow more deeper dives by going to FlightAware and tracking individual flights to Louisville from China and then from KSDF to my area airports: KONT, KSBD, KLAX.

But then I am an AVgeek...

Like I said to the UPS customer service rep. Why am I getting updates for one package but not the other. And I haven't had any issues before.

I’m conflicted if I should leave my order as is (512GB Blush, delivery is from 3/24-3/31 😬) or risk it, cancel the order, and see if I can pick one up tomorrow

If you have the time, go to the Apple store and see if you can get the Neo.
There will be a separate line for "non appointment" folks.
If you do get it, then you can return the delivery one later.

Whoever said Apple has them staged around the US for US delivery is probably right. I just checked my tracking and mine is sitting about 20 miles from my house.

How are feeling about availability for just walking in?

Seeing silver is 13th-17th and I may just order and try to walk in, get lucky in store and cancel the delivery order?

Cheers.

Good chance the Apple store will have stock.

silver 512 coming. Stepping down from my MBP and iPad Pro to this and a iPad.

Time to scale down and stop carrying power I don’t need.
Depending on how old your iPad Pro is, you probably won't notice much if any difference between it and a new iPad.

I switched from 1018 iPad Pro to a M3 iPad Air and I didn't notice any difference in daily use. The Neo is my first MacBook so I don't have anything to compare it too other than two Dell laptops.

My Neo was shipped today and now all of a sudden, I see that it’s being returned to Apple. When I checked Apple‘s website, it says “The carrier was not able to complete your delivery and is returning your package to Apple. Your payment will be refunded once Apple receives the original shipment.”

Can't believe how people buy a thing without touching it !
Apple has a great return policy. But I like to watch the reviews the day before the release and they usually confirm why I bought one or oh sh*t I f*** up and will be returning it. Now when mine arrives tomorrow after watching all the reviews, I can tell you I will be keeping mine without every seeing it or touching it 🙂

Ah you can do that because you don’t have like 20 iPadOS exclusive app purchases that are always being used.

Here in Singapore, all models were available for walk-in except for Blush in 512GB. I got mine in Citrus, 256GB and hopefully I won't regret my color choice 😅

Blush is truly beautiful, though...

Yeah I did this and went from a MBP and iPad Pro to a MacBook Air and iPad mini.

Don’t regret it at all and in fact I get more use out of both as they’re nicer to use and carry around etc.

Typing on my blush 256gb model! Really digging it so far, managed to get it at £549 from KRCS here in the UK which is an amazing price for this computer.

For anyone on the fence, it feels and acts just like a Mac. It's going to make a great travel computer for the times where I don't need the power of my hefty 16" MBP 🙂

Screen is surprisingly bright and colourful, keyboard feels clicky and satisfying, the trackpad click is actually really solid and feels great. I was worried it would be a bit chunky as its thicker than the Air, but having briefly owned an M4 Air, it looks and feels identical to that (and the slightly smaller footprint is a nice bonus).

I think for anyone that doesn't need the power of the M5 in the Air (which I think is most people with basic use cases), the Neo is an incredible deal.
