ordered yesterday, Sunday, 256 citrus for Wed Mar 11 delivery. No ship info yet, so I'm fairly certain it will come from CA (I am in SoCal), wondering if UPS of Fedex, Fedex is more timely in my area

We should be hearing from UPS tracking on deliveries.

In the past majority have been via UPS, but sometimes depending the location of your nearby Apple warehouse, I have received in the past: iPhone 14+ and Mac Mini via FedEx.

I know that in the past intl shipments came vis UPS but clearly, these are domestic.
Just seems that the few products I ordered the past couple years came via Fedex but in the end, who cares?

I care a lot. Where I live, Fedex has been extremely unreliable. Fedex used to be better than UPS, but they have managed to destroy their reputation.

The Fedex pattern is:

1. Show a delivery date of X at 12.15 pm (or so)
2. On day X, the item isn't even out for delivery, but still show a date of X at 12.15 pm (or so)
3. At around 12.15 pm, adjust the time estimate to "by 9pm"
3. It gets close to the end of the Fedex workday at 9pm, but still show a date of X with a time estimate of 9pm
4. After 9pm, still show an estimate of 9pm
5. After midnight, still show an estimate of date X (which is now yesterday) with a time estimate of 9pm
6. At some time, switch to "unknown" and "we're working to give you a delivery estimate"
7. Actually deliver at date of X+2 (2 days later)

Sometimes, it's "out for delivery", sometimes it isn't. Always a lot of fun.

In several decades, I had exactly one UPS delivery missing.

I'll be living vicariously through you guys since I missed the initial preorder and my dates are Mar 24-31. Hoping it moves up.

There's a good chance your order will move up.

You might be surprised if you see a UPS track notification pop up early.

Many times I have done pre-orders and the dates have slipped - but actually delivered earlier than quoted.

Apple tries to under promise and over deliver.

In my area in Texas FedEx delivers.

Yes, had that happen with UPS with my iPhone 16 Pro delivery.

UPS first said one date/time; then changed to later; and eventually they cancelled the delivery. They could not deliver the next business day.

Took another week to get them to be told it had gone missing (tracking unavailable).

Had to file a police report (grand theft burglary) due to the cost, detectives showed up and then voila, the phone showed up - it was already opened and someone at UPS was attempting to sneak it past security....

If it's stolen from a warehouse, I fail to see how you'd be the victim who has to file a police report. If something is stolen in transit, it's simply not delivered. How would that be your problem?

When an item that UPS had supposedly delivered from Amazon wasn't there over a decade ago, I contacted Amazon and they delivered another, that was the end.

I'm probably missing something.

AppleCare One has a mental breakdown. (This is probably not relevant to most here, because since it's not about my MacBook Neo, and AppleCare One is not attractive for that product.)

I'm getting "Coverage Expires Soon" for products I haven't even received yet. I just don't know why can't get this right. For years, they have also set AppleCare to expire 1-2 days before a year is over, only to fix it later. I so hate to look at all this flailing. Just get some professional management and don't sent these bother emails to customers.

On another note, every single Apple Pay payment I made on the Apple Card for Apple products last week has failed. First they got accepted, then "Your order is on hold", all on different days, and I had to change payment methods. I then paid with a different card without any problems. After I asked support (first Goldman Sachs Apple Card support, then Apple), it turned out that if you enter the Apple Card as a credit card traditionally (i.e., not Apple Pay), it works. (I'm in good standing, not over the limit, I'm not using old software etc. etc. etc.)

Always some drama. Please get some professional management for your sales, order and AppleCare departments.

BTW, the Apple Wallet messages on my watch are showing that everything was shipped on March 4. Please get some professional etc. etc.

Yup, been doing the whole iPhone-tracking-from-China thing enthusiastically for years and years, so my fingers are crossed.

UPS is having some issues with their tracking. I just got off the phone with them (after fighting with AI to just talk to someone) and the person said my package is moving through the system and is still scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. But the UPS website and UPS app are both showing that it is still sitting in Louisville, KY.

Did I mention how much I hate AI when trying to call any customer service number.
