My ZZ status updated… not for the better…

This happened with my cases that were delivered yesterday. Originally they were saying they would be delivered between 12:00 and 3:00. The change was to be delivered after 5:30. So this is likely just a time adjustment for you, not date.

I work form home so I will be here all day even after work lol. Is there any advantage of holding the package CC instead of waiting in your home?

This is my first time pre-ordering something from Apple and first time pre-ordering an iPhone at all, I usually wait a couple of months to avoid any gap/bend/explode gate 😀

You can get your package quicker (usually when the CC opens), instead of waiting for the truck to arrive.

I'm doing it mainly because I won't be home. But your package is available for pickup as soon as the customer center opens for business, so it is possible to get it a few hours sooner than you would normally. But that depends on when the customer lobby in your customer center is open. As someone else said, some don't open until later in the afternoon.

I was in the 9/28 to 10/5 group as well. Yesterday when I checked tracking it showed 9/21 delivery in UPS.
Now I see 9/24.

If you're going to be home all day then there isn't really a concern... For most people, they probably work, and want to pick up first thing in the morning. In my case, I will be leaving around 6pm, so I don't want to chance missing the driver.

Now stuck in Incheon. UPS and Apple still say end of day Friday, but tracking can't be right.

I've been showing the same thing. I don't think it is correct, I think they're behind on updating the scans.
The status on my UPS My Choice page changed from "In Transit" to "In Transit:On Time" about an hour ago (with NO change to the tracking info --> still just showing arrival scan 7:45pm in Incheon) .
I'm pretty sure we're ok and we'll get our iPhones tomorrow.

Yes, I had the 9/28-10/5 date and mine is now in the shipped category with a delivery date of 9/24. I have tracking and it is still waiting to clear customs in ZZ.

I'm so paranoid about missing the delivery that I changed it to the local CC. I could be home, but with my luck, UPS would ring the doorbell right when I was in the bathroom or something...

Now I see 9/24.

I got my tracking number early yesterday morning; however, it’s showing 9/28 delivery

Scared to change to pick-up to a local UPS store. I know my luck, and it'll end up getting lost. Anybody have any insight on whether it's a gamble to switch it?

Mine only got lost once having it held at a hub. They ended up finding it the next week. This year I don't have the option to hold it at the hub so I'm just waiting at home.

I think the odds of them losing it are slim, between my husband and I it only happened to mine out of maybe 5 iPhone launches.

Hahaha this right here. Although I was planning on working at the table that sits in view of our giant glass window door so I wouldn't miss. Luckily UPS support was able to get mine held instead so I can pick it up instead of waiting

E-mail came from Apple at 3:37am that it had shipped with a delivery date of 9/25. When I looked at the tracking info this morning it says delivery date of 9/24. It is still waiting for clearance at ZZ.
