Apple.com only preorder tracking (NOT 9/25delivery)

Just curious, there's an astounding number of 6s+ orders compared with the smaller phone in this thread.

Is the consensus that the 6s+ the one to get this year?

I pre ordered the 6s in gold for 12-15 October delivery.

I believe so. My local store was totally sold out of Plus models and they had plenty regular 6s'

Def a personal choice, but I think the delay is just a smaller market for the plus. For some reason a 3 for 1 (6 to 6+) sales ratio seems familiar when reading the analysts guesses at sales last year.
 
Freakin UPS is claiming that the street # is incorrect and changed the delivery to Monday. This is not the first time that they did this to my shipment. I called apple for assistance and they said they put in a request. I was on the phone for more than 30 mins. I asked if anything they can do to compensate for my time and frustration, I was emailed a $15 off $100, $30 off $200 or $45 off $300

So, not that I was expecting anything, but still no movement detected.

I bought the 6s, and I think the size is perfect. If your coming from a smaller phone, you won't be
disappointed. I returned my 6+ about 4 months ago because I thought it was too big.
 
I'm so stinking excited!!!!!!! My original reason for being upset at missing launch is that I was giving my 6 to my son for his birthday .... And it's Wednesday 9/30. So when my order kept skipping it sucked....
Well guess what? Phone had left China, and will all of a sudden be here Wednesday by cob. All of you who has gotten charged, check your status!!!!!!!! Second wave of phones are shipping!

It's interesting as those ratios are what I had heard. Perhaps a tech forum does not accurately reflect that.

I've also downsized this year as I found the 6+ a little large for daily use.
 
Hey i ordered mine on the 25th (lol) any chance ill get it earlier then the date 10/23-10/30

If I want to stalk UPS for a UK delivery what order number do I use? My apple order number beginning with W? My status is stuck on processing and I am becoming obsessed!

Well glad that everything worked out for you.

Since you can start reserving today, I know that changes will be slim but I'm going to check online at 8 am my time and see if they still have AT&T model that I want available.
 
So I managed to reserve the AT&T Model at my local Apple store today to pick up at 10 am. So I ended up canceling the orders that I made online. Woot.

This morning at 8am I was able to make a reservation at my nearest Apple Store for the same model I preordered. On my way to pick it up now and then I will be cancelling my preorder!

On Friday morning my status changed to order processing, delivery date of 10/9ish...this morning I got a UPS tracking number and my phone will be delivered on 9/30.

I ordered a 6s Plus 64gb in Rose Gold.

I plan on doing the same to reserve in store if my model and carrier become available. We'll see what happens at 8am PST.

I just gave that a shot and my model in 64GB or 128GB is not available in CO. Womp womp.

Yes I noticed not everything is going to be available. Maybe if you have a flagship store in your area the larger the volume and variety of phone models available.

I live in California in the heart of the Bay Area so I actually have at least a half dozen stores I could go to within a 40 minute drive. I'll probably be able to reserve one but I'm supposed to be for the electrician all day. So not sure when I would be able to pick it up. LOL!
 
For those who've been able to reserve and are going to cancel your online order, when do intend to cancel? When you get to the Apple Store? Your upgrade eligibility is tied to the online order, if you were to cancel does it change your eligibility status right away, or does it take 24 hours?

I have the phone now and going to cancel my order when I get home. I bought the phone unlocked full retail so I don't know about contracts as I use Cricket

I'm at my local Apple Store for my 10 am reservation. No one here yet and stores not open till 10.

If you placed a reservation for later time be expected to wait but should be that long.

I would think the stand by line would be the longer line. I would like to hope that with reservations and your chosen time would only have xxx amount of people able to reserve at a specific time, just to keep it organized and efficient.

So when you canceled your online order did it free up your upgrade eligibility right away?
