Well then im sorry lol. I misinterpreted ur comment. For what its worth, that was just the beginning of the chat, we then talked about whether the Nano sim would be activated on my moms line or on mine since i did a cross upgrade, so i did have a legit question. I just thought people here might like to see what Chase said
I am pretty certain that individuals cross upgrading, will have to get a new nano sim from an AT&T store. Don't activate the iPhone with the included SIM.
Cross upgrade is interesting. Don't know the answer to that.
Used my wife's upgrade to buy the 64gb and purchased a 16gb for her at the early upgrade price on my account. I'll just swap the SIMs when they arrive on Friday.

What phone is it exactly, and when did you order? I ordered my AT&T White 16GB at 3:18EST, it switched to Preparing for Shipping Sunday night, and it just showed up on Apple Support and UPS.
I asked the same question. I cross upgraded and AT&T Support told me to just call in with the new phones IMEI and SIM number. They said from there they will just transfer the info from my wife's number to my number. I figure I would do that Let it set for about an hour then switch over to the new phone.

Yep, I'm not having any luck with reference tracking either. I tried about every number I could find. There doesn't seem to be a line, or sequential order either. My confirmation email from Apple was received at 1:16AM MST on 9/14 (16 minutes after preorders went live), and my order status page says Preparing for Shipment.

atleast most of you guys are actually moving mine still says "preparing for shipment" and hasnt changed for a while.

I think all 2 million plus say "Preparing for Shipment". People have just found "loophole" to track the phone using UPS Track using Reference.
mine says preparing for shipment also still. Go back to the first page of the forum and try tracking it by reference on UPS website. I used my cell phone number and put in the date range, US and my zipcode and got tracking info. Right now it left Alaska at 12:58am today local time and so far hasnt arrived anywhere..

How did you add it to iCloud? That isn't possible without the phone itself.
I have yet to receive and email, but i did find out my serial number.
Looks like it came from factory 1 and was week 35(September).
I checked UPS and it said it arrived in Zhengzhou China, but then i got a text notification on my phone and it said that its in transit to Louisville, KY right now....
