Addison here, 2 lbs. also

Yes. All the Addison shipments are 2lbs. That is for a single iPhone. Each iPhone ships seperately. Seperate order = seperate shipping. Not sure where all this "combining" of orders came from.

There are two different distributors being used. The one site is using ".9 lbs" as their shipping weight. The one in Addison likely weighed them at just over a pound. So even if it's 1.000000000001lbs, it must get rounded up to the next full pound, which is 2lbs. That is why there is a discrepancy.

Anyone who ordered two iPhones and believes they are both in the same 2lb package is wrong. Just wait longer.

In my case, my first Addison shipment (2lbs) was trackable by reference number on Sunday afternoon. The second 2lb shipment for my other iPhone just showed up an hour ago. So it took over 2 days from the time the first one was available. Also, the instant it was on UPS, it showed up on SupportProfile.

Mine was on the same flight from AK...they are probably in Louisville right now. :D

Yikes. My order now says "processing items", and it used to say "preparing for shipment". So now that it went a step backwards I'm concerned. Has this happened to anyone else? I should note that it still says delivers on the 21st

iPhone shipped, says Processing, in Conga Line in KY

Here's how it's happened for me:

1. AT&T user, purchased iPhone 5, 32GB black, through Apple iPhone App on an iPhone 3GS on 09/14/2012 at 01:07 Mountain Time. Successful order. email from Apple verifies this.
2. Starting 09/15/2012 through today 09/18/2012 Apple site says "Preparing for Shipment", Delivers 09/21/2012.
3. Finally found the iPhone 5 package on the UPS site using my HOME telephone landline number.
4. It's in KY and hasn't claimed it's left, yet.
5. Apple has not sent me an email saying the phone has shipped.
6. Happy things are moving, grateful for all these posts that helped me find the shipping information.

Thanks!

Sooo.. Anyone figured out how to presign if you're going to be at work on Friday? They're using UPS this time instead of FedEx so the old presign forms obviously won't work.

I talked with our UPS driver today (he brought the weed whacker) and he said there are presign forms on the UPS site. I haven't looked, but he said print it out and follow the directions on filling it out and where to leave it. I haven't looked, yet, but I may have to do the same thing.

My iPhone 5 has been in Louisville, Kentucky, for over 16 hours now. I think maybe this is where UPS is holding them, so they don't arrive early. That is pure speculation.

Mine departed Addison at 6:00pm last night. No word from it since. I wonder if it's on a truck to the northeast, instead of flying?

Yep, same. No news from it. I am still questioning why Apple hasn't updated any of the statues of their iPhones from Preparing to Ship to Shipped yet.

I asked the same question. I cross upgraded and AT&T Support told me to just call in with the new phones IMEI and SIM number. They said from there they will just transfer the info from my wife's number to my number. I figure I would do that Let it set for about an hour then switch over to the new phone.

Just be aware that they will be extremely busy and may have some people that don't normally do this performing this process. I had the misfortune of that last year with the 4S and after they told me I was good to go, turned on the phone... and my wife's went dead. I was able to swap the sim over to her phone so should could still use hers but had to go into an AT&T store the next day for them to fix their mistake and give me a working sim. Don't let them charge you for a new sim if this happens though. They tried that on me and I told them I wouldn't pay for a new sim since it was their error.

Finally have a S/N

I have been checking on it everything hour still nothing on UPS but I feel like I am going to get a phone on Friday.

I just got an email confirmation message from accountnotify@Verizonwireless.com even though I never accessed their website and the phone hasn't shipped yet. So I confirmed my email with the system, but I can't login or register an account because I don't have an activated phone :)

Just a weird email to get with no context and no phone in hand. :)

From Apples perspective the phones are being staged for shipment, they haven't been shipped yet. They may want to complete the credit card charge administration before sending your notice. You can track your unit's reference number simply through a quirk in Apple's and UPS's partner system that is keeping track of inventory allocations.

If anybody can find this form on UPS, will you post the link?
I can't find it.
THANK YOU!

Anyone else with a phone still sitting in Hong Kong? My wife's 32 gig has been there since yesterday and hasn't moved.
