Apple.com Preorder Status Thread (merged)

So what time is everyone planning on waking up and waiting for their package? Mine says before 10:30am Est, was thinking about waking up at 8, and letting the wait game begin?

However, even though it says before 10:30am, I really dont think it will be here until later in the day, So I am sure it is going to be a long wait on Friday.
 
Although i prefer FedEx over UPS any day. I am pretty sure almost all will make it close to their promised delivery time.

I ordered at about 12:25a PST, and my orders still say "Preparing for Shipment" on Apple's site. If I look them up at UPS using the reference number, it actually returns three packages instead of the two I ordered. All three originate in ZhengZhou, China. One's sitting in Louisville, the other two left Alaska yesterday.

My reference number pulls up 3 tracking items (1 duplicate), and they have both left Alaska. Chances are they're sitting unscanned at the Worldport Louisville hub until Thursday afternoon.

Yeah, I really don't expect UPS to make that 10:30 commit time. IIRC, my iPhone 4S said the same thing (ordered from Verizon) and I ended up just pacing around my apartment until UPS finally came at like 2:30 or something.

Yeah, so did mine. Went from saying "End of day" to saying nothing at all after "9/21" to saying "9/21 by 10:30 a.m.". Interesting. I pretty much figured I would get it hopefully before noon. If not noon then before 3 p.m..

Also, ordered from apple.com coming via UPS.

Last year i got my 4s around 3:30 PM but i got home from school at 2:00 so i was stuck sitting by the door for a WHOLE hour and a half thinking if i should bake the UPS man some Cookies. lmfao jkkk

where does it say that? my UPS guy doesn't come til around 8 at night so i'm always waiting for packages pretty late. would be awesome if he came early though!

UPS has never missed a time window when it is given to me. It's rather convenient.

That being said, mine says "by end of day"

Well that and im not "feeling well". I take 4 tests today in my 4 classes so friday is a free day basically and i only have 2 classes and i have no problem skipping them as their easy classes.
