I know (read: hope) my phone will be here tomorrow, but I would feel much better if it finally made it to Louisville from Anchorage.

Haha I'm on that same flight. My guess is it never got scanned. UPS is still showing on time as well as Apples shipped email. We'll see it tomorrow :)

Mine both changed to "by 10:30am" also. Will be interested to see. I think in the past they did come earlier than normal for iPhones. No matter, I'll be at work until 4 or 5. :( Maybe I'll have the wife take a picture of the box so I can call AT&T and work on the upgrade swap...

:)

Me too! But I am not too worried, just because it hasn't scanned doesn't mean it won't be here!

Out for Delivery!

Not counting on it but you never know????

*** UPDATE***

UPS screen changed back to show it still in AK.

I'm sure its at the depot. Screen said "last update 7:40am" So I was just in time to see the out for delivery screen before they changed it back.

They are not posting updates on purpose, I believe. My Apple.com order shows that my iPhone shipped the 16t and of course they have been moving through the UPS network they just haven't updated us.

Does anyone have experience with a missed UPS delivery and being able to pick it up from the depo the same day? Some light Googling indicates they can only do it the next day, though I remember getting it same-day a long time ago. I'm kinda ticked they used UPS, cuz the nearest depo is 15 miles away, whereas I've got a FedEx depo 2 miles away and have been able to do same-day pick up plenty of times.

When I have missed deliveries from UPS before I can just go to the nearest UPS depo and pick it up the same day.

fedex or ups? Keep us posted.

I am only guessing here but it kinda makes sense that apple just shipped the phones to Louisville and then when they were ready to get shipped to different hubs they sent the emails out.

I am in los Angeles and after I got my shipping emails I checked flights or of louisville and ups had 2 flights out. One to LAX and one to ontario. Like I said I am just guessing but I bet my phone is on one of those and probably later in the day or maybe sometime tonight I'll get an updated tracking scan.

Just my thoughts here...

I am starting to think we will see "shipped" status and e-mail notifications once our phones start leaving Louisville, KY

^ I might have called this :D I too got the shipment notification this morning from apple @ 5:03AM EST and status changed to "shipped". UPS shows my phone still hasnt left Louisville yet

Sometimes, yes. If they don't have notice you're coming to pick it up, there's a chance it will stay locked on the truck overnight and the UPS employees at the pick-up desk won't have access to it unless the driver is there. That's happened to me twice, but usually you should be OK to just go pick it up.

I hope all u antsy people realized that Apple did you a favor by purposefully waiting until the last possible day to send the 'Shipped' emails because by agreement with the carriers, the return date (and contract cancellation date) is calculated 30 days from the shipment date, and it would have been unfair for Apple to have purposefully held up shipments until the 21st if the return policy was being calculated from the 14th-16th.

Shipping Notice & Updated Delivery Time

Thanks to the previous posters who allowed me track by reference as my iPhone makes its way to me.

This morning I got my shipping confirmation from Apple. When I checked the UPS website, the estimated delivery time had changed from by end of day to before 10:30 AM.

Looking good!

Just woke up and haven't had a chance to read up on the thread, but first thing...I got my shipped e-mail. Second, it arrived at 4:14 AM CDT. I checked the UPS flight from Louisville to Dallas, it LANDED at 4:14 AM. Coincidence? Doubtful. :D

UPS tracking shows no movement. Like others said, starting to think its intentional.
