To answer my own question, I just saw this on a forum somewhere else...

"The import scan means it hasn't cleared customs yet. you should see arrival and departure scans in louisville, then arrival and departure scans at your local hub, then one saying it's out for delivery."

"Arrival Scan: This scan is an electronic record indicating the shipment has been received at a UPS facility. Shipments may travel through several UPS facilities throughout their journey. The shipment is moving; however, there may be several days between scans if the shipment is going cross-country or moving between countries.

Import Scan: The shipment has cleared import procedures in the receiving country."

People are excited, and remember this is the internet where your perception of what you read my not carry the same emotion the writer was trying to convey.

I requested the address change as well. the process bar was in a yellow color for a while, but today it turned green and says it will be delivered tomorrow at 3 pm.. maybe yours will change as well.

I hope so, it was yellow/orange yesterday and today it turned green with that message.. so i hope it get's sorted out

Do we know if we can trust this? I know some people have been showing it since they ordered. Mine just updated from "by end of day" to this ealier:

"Scheduled Delivery:
Friday, 09/21/2012, by 10:30 A.M."
 
I ordered the iPhone 5 from the apple store app, around 3:45am on 9/14. When I placed the order, it said 9/21 delivery. Now, I just checked the order status and it says 10/5. Did this happen to anyone else? I'm so mad!!
 
Up until yesterday my order said it was to be here by October 5th.

I ordered the 64 GB Black iPhone and figured it'd be here when it got here. This morning I awoke to an email that told me one of my items has been shipped - it's my iPhone!

Nice!

In Kentucky now, hopefully UPS shows up on time tomorrow.

Of note - I got my order in at 12:53 AM the first night pre-orders were open, as did my wife. My wife has not gotten her shipping notification yet and it appears it's going to take a while as she ordered the 16GB black phone. I think simply more people purchased that one which is why it will take longer whereas less got the 64GB black phone.

You are so lucky!!! I ordered at 12:14 for a 64g white and there is still nothing from UPS. Showing as "processing"....sigh....

Finally!!! louisville Kentucky!!!!! I'm sure it's been there since Tuesday.......but it hadn't updated.......
