I'm in SoCal and no import scan for me either. It says it will be delivered by the end of the day. They don't specify a time.
Is everyone's shipments that says by 10:30 tomorrow coming from China?
Because I think international has different delivery requirements than domestic. I know Next day air saver is end of day because when I ship UPS Next day it has to be delivered in the am.

I'm sure it would be ok to be signed by a co-worker. I'm having mine shipped to my work, and the receptionist knows to give me a call when our UPS guy gets here just in case. So, you should be fine though with having someone else sign for it at the office.
This has felt like the longest week ever and today the longest day and it's only 12 here. Gah!
yes, I had the exact same thing, also delivering to socal. I was getting frustruated with the lack of movement/updates, but I'm guessing it will be on an overnight plane, maybe to Ontario? delivery still scheduled for tomorrow by 10:30am. sure hope so, i'm heading out of town at 11.

Anyway the order status on apple.com now shows "Shipped" as well as the ability to track OR presign.
Of course, I've seen the track # since Sunday!

No my phone has been in the US of A for the most part of this week. It's been sitting in Louisville but still scheduled to arrive in CA @10:30am

Trying the line and cancelling
I pre-ordered 2 Iphone 5's on the apple store website at about 9am the 14th and have a delivery date of 10/5 to Dallas. Order still says processing items. What about trying to stand in line tomorrow at one of the local Apple stores and if able to get the phones then cancelling the pre-order right there and then? Would the 2 upgrades I used with ATT then be available to make the purchases of those phones in store?

Just posted my pre-sign paper with a little note to put it inside my grill around back. I also put a Gatorade and a pack of Reese's Cups in there with a thank you note to my UPS guy.
Never know, maybe on the next order he'll remember and deliver mine first

Like mine. Just spoke to a UPS rep via phone and my college is considered commercial so it is guaranteed for delivery by 3:00pm!
EDIT: Departure scan from Louisville at 2:52! It's going to Binghamton, NY -- any idea which flight it would be on? Probably something to Rochester or Syracuse if I had to guess.
Hmmm, seems like there are a lot of "by 10:30 AM" folks out there...
If we're lucky, we might even get them before 8 AM or otherwise early enough to beat the activation rush that usually makes everything go haywire on the release days. Well, maybe that's only possible for us on the East Coast.

Only 1 UPS flight left Louisville and that was headed to Dallas/Ft Worth. All other phones are on trucks. Will these trucks loaded with thousands of iPhones be hijacked! Will the driver be robbed when he stops? Will a tire blow out and the truck with YOUR iPhone go careening down an embankment and burst into flames!

I'm goin to hope you're being sarcastic. There are more than a dozen UPS flights scheduled to leave between now and midnight from Louisville.
