There is a a UPS facility named Hodgkins INDIANA. The Ohio and Indiana Turnpikes allow triple trailers, Illinois doesn't. Therefore westbound UPS triples will drop the third trailer at the Hodgkins, INDIANA facility before driving to Hodgkins, ILLINOIS. Eastbound doubles out of Hodgkins, ILLINOIS can pickup a third trailer at Hodgkins, INDIANA for the trip across Indiana and Ohio. Obviously, UPS must run some shuttles between the 2 separate locations.

In other words, Hodgkins INDIANA is a name that was made up by UPS. It isn't the name of a community in Indiana. It probably would have bettter for them to have called it something like "John Doe Indiana".

So basically my phone got left behind in Indiana while the other two trailers went into Illinois. 🙁
 
I love how the departure time from C'bus (9:57) is a mirror image [sort of] of the arrival time in C'bus (7:59)

I'm a numbers geek🙂

CBP Is customs and border protection (www.cbp.gov).

RTS generally means Return to Sender... but that doesn't make sense, as ultimately if it was a World Ease shipment, at least one full pallet of iPhones had to have been denied because they put customs together under essentially one electronic document versus individual allowances...

I got kicked out of chat 3x! Of course now it's off. I think I'll just take my chance that it won't come in the morning. UPS never comes through in my neighborhood so I'll just try my side with luck.

Can anyone pick up the phone from the UPS store or do I need to sign for it there too, after they attempt a home delivery?

checked ups.com, still says "Scheduled Delivery: Friday, 09/21/2012, by 10:30 A.M.
Last Location: Departed - Louisville, KY, United States, Thursday, 09/20/2012 "

checked the other two tracking websites, says "IN TRANSIT" to Va Beach by truck!

I've read every single post throughout the past week 😀 & I'll be staying up all night waiting 'patiently' for my phone 😉 , STOKED!

Oct 5 delivery date

Checked my order status and I was surprised to see "Preparing to ship" since i was at "processing items" until tonight.
Yay for progress faster than expected 🙂

A couple of guys at work were messing around with iOS 6 this morning. A couple of other guys were feverishly checking out comparable apps on their androids. Hilarious.

ups store and ups facility are 2 different places so be clear of where you want it to be. and also, after they attempt home delivery, you'll have to call them (or do it online through my ups) to hold at facility. they said that if it's not you who's picking it up, the person just has to have the tracking number - which to me is kinda sketch lol..but if it's you picking it up, you just have to have your license/ID
