So it never showed getting on the truck for delivery? Have you called UPS or Apple?
Mine was supposed to come between 9:45-1:45 and it hasn't come yet and it's now 2. I'm starving!
UPS just pushed back my delivery date from today by 10:30AM to 9/24!!!
I'm beyond pissed right now
Now UPS has made an exception and and will deliver it today. Funny thing is that it says by 10:30am, which is LONG gone

Just wanted to let you know that if you have AT&T the phone will activate itself correctly if you remember to shut off your previous one, remove sim card first.

I contacted ups via chat and they said it would be delivered today. and they told me it was on the truck even if my tracking does not reflect that information.
I find that a little fishy....They could either me just trying to get me off the line or they could be swamped with deliveries. I just cant image that today is busier than Christmas.
However someone mentioned they received their ip5 before tracking showed it was on the truck.
I am just hoping it gets here in one piece today.

The customer was not available on the 1st attempt. A 2nd attempt will be made.

Called in a requested evening pick up at hub. My tracking showed:
Same day will call. / Customer has confirmed and will pick up packages this evening (12:02m)
Update (4pm)
UPS just called. The driver won't be back until 10PM (they close at 7PM)...Guess I'm not getting my iPhone 5 today. LAME
I explained the pre-delivery signed form. She ask if it was one of those apply thingies. I said YES! She laughed and said we can't leave those.
She asked if I want to come in and pick it up on Monday or send the driver back out. I told her to send him out, then she told me to wait. Came back and said they will try and send out drivers tomorrow for Saturday deliver (not typical).
Hopefully it comes out tomorrow, if not, Monday it is.
She also apologized and said she has a lot of these calls to make....

It happens. Last year I didn't get a single update except for the finally delivery. You can imagine how I felt the entire time everyone else was having fun tracking their iPhones.
Just got done activating my new phone. This is my very first iPhone and I am loving it so far. I am so glad I made the switch. I am even posting this using the phone. Hope everyone else's experience goes as well as mine is.
so has everyone's come through UPS, or have some used fedex ?

Got mine at 4:00 sharp! Just now posting because I couldn't put it down, and right now im staring at it.
UPS tranny showed up @ 9:30am. Didn't bother to ring the bell. Just left the door notice. Luckily I heard his/her truck and chased him/her down.
Don't understand what's so hard about ringing the door bell. SMH

I've had that happen several times. I'd be home and know for a fact they didn't knock or ring and just find a sticker on the door. Man that pisses me off.
Still waiting, and nervous about the pre-sign document, my GF just left for work, I really wish they would have gotten there while she was home..
