I will continue trying the UPS/Fed Ex websites periodically throughout the day and will update the forum as necessary.
This is my first iPhone pre-order and it went very smooth for me. To all the other customers who have October delivery dates, I wish you the best of luck and hopefully it will arrive sooner than anticipated.
WAIVED UPGRADE FEE: To get the upgrade fee waived just explain to the CSR, politely of course, that you could have taken your business elsewhere but chose to stay with (Insert Provider Here). If they are being stingy just ask for a manager.
Update: As of 9/16 @ 6:15PM EST I cannot retrieve my tracking information from UPS/Fed Ex. My Apple support profile has also not been updated.
I can't decide if I should be nervous or I am just being paranoid.
