As of right now my order still says:

Action required: We have attempted to contact you regarding your order. Please contact us at1-800-692-7753, Option 2.

I called them like three times already (to switch from PO BOX to physical adress which I already did after I ordered), they said just don't worry about it.

Well, I'm worried! :eek:

Also tried reference checks on Fedex and UPS, nothing.

EDIT: It switched from standard shipping to "holiday shipping" though.

I thought the same thing. There are ipods on there pre the iphone I don't even remember having.

I did a quick maths exercise to see how much it all was but stop half way through. I was too scared to go all the way

Agreed. Well at least now I have a record to show my future children when they ask me how come they can't go to college.
 
Same here. Not looking forward to being stuck at work tomorrow with no way to check. Don't think my kindergarteners would appreciate a lesson on apple product tracking. :p

Well I now have my office and computers to myself but after 20 years with preschoolers I can safely say they love what you love and get excited about whatever you're excited about. I think you might be able to work it in - think what you can do with all those numbers and geographical locations :D
 
Has anyone had any movement on a 64gb black Verizon? I put my order in at 12:20am PST. On apple it says preparing to ship but UPS isn't coming up with anything.

My 64gb black Verizon one switched from processing items to preparing for shipment Sunday afternoon.

How did you get tracking info if your apple order status says preparing shipment?
 
Anybody from Europe (or generally outside US) already getting UPS results? I am still unlucky, while my Apple order has been "Preparing for Shipment" since Saturday morning, Europe time.
 
Still nothing :( Bought mine at around 3:20 EST. No tracking, not at the Support Profile page... Still "Preparing for Shipment" with delivery of 09/21 so I guess I'm still good...

There is also a 30 series number but it is too high for it to refer to the build week.

Being in a different region than North America, I would suspect it is different due to that. But we will see.

Anyone got any hints or clues as to what this could mean?
 
hmm, i would like to avoid launch day madness, so would it be better for me to go to an att store in the morning to get my moms phone? Mine is currently being shipped out for early 9/21 delivery.
 
My serial number starts with DNPJ9, I ordered it within the first ten minutes Friday morning, and it is being delivered to Canada (directly bought from Apple).

Nice! Forgot about that feature for searching. At least one of my orders shows up. Although it looks like Apple might have combined the shipping into one package. If so, that's kinda cool considering they were two separate orders.
 
Finally went to bed last night hoping my tracking information would show up in the morning. And what do you know, it did show up. Found the tracking information using the phone number listed in my Apple profile.

16GB Black Verizon coming from ZhengZhou, China.

Order Status: changed to "Preparing for Shipment" on 9/15 @ 8:30PM EST
UPS/Fed Ex Tracking information: Unable to locate shipment at this time (search attempted on 9/16 @ 8:10AM EST)

Update: As of 9/17 @ 6:00AM EST my tracking number has appeared on the UPS website. My serial # has not been updated to my Apple Support Profile. :)
 
Preparing to Ship

My order is still saying preparing to ship but i found my tracking number using my CTN as a reference number. and it shipped out yesterday from IL
