Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

Mine is sitting in MOUNT JULIET, TN. If this matches the procedure from my iPhone 5 (from 2 years ago), it'll be on a plane bound for Seattle (or Boeing Field) tomorrow.

Has anyone figured out what airport those will fly out of (regardless of destination)? Looks like UPS only operates flights out of Louisville (not Nashville, even though it's closer).

2 years ago, I was able to nail down the exact flight my iPhone 5 was on as it was coming to Seattle. Would be fun to do the same this time around.

Sounds like somebody put a toe on your scale ;-) Mine's definitely 1.3.

My phone shows that it departed China at 11:00 pm on the 15th. And no updates since. Anyone else is this position?

Plenty of us. No need to be concerned. In fact, some may not ship out of China until tomorrow. Keep in mind the Hong Kong is 14 hours ahead (of mountain time anyway) and across the date line. It can leave China Thursday their time, and get here early in the day Thursday US time.

Also, my tracking says Next Day Air Saver...

I got both tracking by looking up my reference number, but only one has been scan and it's in TN. The other one just said label has been created, both are schedule to deliver by 9/19. Anybody got the same thing?

A plethora of phones are and have been stateside for a week or more. Don't expect to see much movement until most likely tonight, maybe even tomorrow morning.

Though, once I signed up the delivery window option was no longer available. Wife is going to be away from the house for like 30 minutes. Hopefully, that doesn't line up. Could request delivery to neighbor I guess.

I could also use my Apple W<Order Number> minus the last two digits.

Has anyone done this and requesting for them to delivery it to an UPS Access Point near your address and still shown the estimated delivery date still be the 19th? When i tried this it shows the 22nd and not the 19th. I didn't go thru with it and wanted to know if its just me or does doing this change your delivery date. Nobody will be home and this is just much easier. UPS store is literally a mile away from me.

I have a white 4S but the pic has always been of a black phone in the foreground and a white in the background. My white iPad 3 is shown as black. My gold 6+ shows as white, no gold. I don't think the color shown is a matter of concern.

Finally have tracking from UPS. Bummed because UPS deliver late in my neighborhood. I'm in California but my iPhone 6 pluses are in Nashville, TN.

Anxiety is always high around this time on these forums. People fret over every little detail.

Just did the reference check at USP with 10 digit phone number. A shipping label has been made on 9/15 and the weight of the package is 1lbs. Still hoping for my 9/19 arrival. Shipment still pending at the Apple Store.

The access point option will delay your delivery. You need to check the CC -Hold or Will Call in order to pick up on the 19th - I think it is the last option. If you look there are asterisks after 2 of the choices (one being the access point) that state choosing this will alter your delivery date.

ups and fedex can deliver packages anywhere in the lower 48 overnight. Meaning it could leave Thursday evening and still make it to you by Friday. They are pretty good at what they do. Don't worry. If apple says 9/19 it will be there.

For everyone who has no updates since being scanned in Zhengzhou, two more ups planes have departed Hong Kong and will be in Anchorage early this afternoon. Expect to see another round of updates tonight.

Yes. I have tracking through UPS since the 15th but apple still says preparing to ship.

Same here there are lots of us that the last update was 9/15 and still in China
