Well that flight was not due into Anchorage until 9:03 pm according to that flight schedule and it isn't even 9 pm there even now. But it doesn't matter as long as the phones got there and have left there.

some phones could be on commercial flights as well. With this huge volume of phones coming to north america relying on nothing but ups planes could prove prohibitive so they lease space on commercial flights.

you should be fine; however i ordered from the apple store app at approx 12:10pst or 3:10est so you were a little behind but if it says 9/19 you will get it

Yeah, it was not a UPS flight. Probably only a portion are UPS aircraft.

One thing I still didn't get

My order says - Preparing for Shipment - Delivers: 9/19 by Standard Shipping

Does it means i'm gonna get it with delivery guy to my door or i will have to go to pick it up from the post office itself??


Because I saw in the apple website - Shipping Methods:

Guaranteed Standard Shipping → Delivers within 5 business days*
Guaranteed 2 Day Shipping → Delivers within 2 business days
Guaranteed 2-3 Business Day Shipping → Delivers within 2-3 business days
Guaranteed Next Day Shipping → Delivers within 1 business day
Guaranteed Next Day Shipping, before noon → Delivers before noon the day after the product is available


so i'm not sure...

delivered to your door by ups unless u make arrangements to pickup at a ups facility.
 
My order is still showing: Preparing for Shipment Delivers: 9/19 by Standard Shipping

I was however able to find my tracking number via UPS and it says: Order Processed: Ready for UPS. Does anybody know if it is still possible for me to change the address which it is delivered to and pick it up at the HUB. The thing is my phone was originally supposed to be shipped to Irvine, CA but now I find myself in Los Angeles, so was trying to see how to go about being able to pick it up in Los Angeles on Friday.
 
My order is still preparing for shipment since Sunday, the charge for the iphone 6 is now a completed charge and is listed in my support profile. I cannot get any information trying to track it via reference number, so I have no clue what is going on with mine. Of course like everyone else it shows 9/19 delivery, I'm going to give it until I get off work tomorrow and if there is no change I guess ill head to the apple store to camp out.

you wont know. Just gotta wait it out until they show. can be as late as 8 or 9pm local time. Your other option is to have it held for will call pickup. that way it will be held at the ups facility closest to you and you can pickup when they open friday.

Unless they run a special truck due to large number of additional packages you will usually get it around the same time UPS normally delivers in your area. Normally business deliveries will get preference in the morning. In the few neighborhoods I've lived in my area, its almost always in the afternoon and can get way too late for my liking.
 
my iPhone 6+ is in MY TOWN!!

was just sent an update from apple via text, that it mere miles away from me at UPS, it had been in nashville this morning! it will be delivered on friday 9/19, kinda torture but kinda happy! i really missed watching it fly around!

shall i drive over over there and find it?!?

its impossible to change the address now that the label has been generated. Apple has made it to where you cant ship to an alternate address other that will call pickup or another ups access point

did you try your phone number? why would you go wait at apple when it will come? what time was your order?

I've ordered every iPhone from Apple. It's usually always the day of, my usual UPS delivery time. So don't worry!
 
On FlightAware I noticed Atlas Air #8528 (the flight from Zhengzhou to Anchorage) is also scheduled to go from Anchorage to Louisville.

Anyone think it's likely the phones stay on one flight? Or do you think they switched planes at Anchorage?
