Thats what I figured, if I were to do Will Call am I allowed to choose what HUB I want to pick it up at? and if so, how do i go about doing so?

yes that happens a lot. One crew to anchorage another to louisville same plane. On 9to5mac a pilot snapped a pic of 195K iphones on a plane he was flying from china and described this exact situation
did you look at flightaware website? one of the guys from there made a tracking site and posted here
it will choose the one closest to your delivery address. Sign up for ups my choice and select hold for will call. Then ur all set

supposedly only apple can update the shipping address. once you make the request. they will update it once the phone gets to the UPS hub (before delivery). UPS will check for any address change before sending out for delivery.

Mine still says Preparing for shipment with a delivery of 9/19. I tried looking up my phone number as a reference number on the ups website but nothing came up. But there again I live in Canada so I don't know if it's arriving via ups for us Canucks

My UPS just switched from 2 business days to 1 business day to delivery. Sitting in Rialto which means they may not put it on the plane until tomorrow night to get to Oregon. Bummer, I was hoping to get at least a little tracking in

Apple says my phone is still 'Preparing for shipment' but I opened my UPS app and the phone appeared as a package due for delivery on Friday. Currently sitting in Louisville, KY.
Ah man. Still nothing for me. Apple status is the same with Preparing for shipping with a 9/19 delivery date. But the UPS site doesn't show anything when I throw in my phone number. Doesn't look like it's registered with UPS.
It's already Thursday afternoon here, with less than a day till the 19th. The wait is almost unbearable!

phone number won't work. use your order number and take off the last 2 digits.
Has been for me since the iPhone 4 so hoping it still is as my UPS man is awesome.

Don't worry, we here in Canada are not getting to see much progress either. I can only see that a package is in the UPS system when I enter my reference info. Nothing else at all. Of course Apple still shows preparing for shipment.
On the bright side, my card was charged and they sent me an invoice already. One other Canadian member called Apple and was told that we won't be getting any further shipping details until as late as Thursday evening. So, we can just sit back and enjoy the American action here.
