Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

Got mine!!!
After all the crappiness that was ordering through the Apple app, I finally got through at 7am and my phone came today at 10am. I'm a happy person.

Yay to everyone who's gotten their phones and peace and patience to everyone who is still waiting.
 
Got my package around 1… Glad I went for the 6 instead of the Plus. Congrats to all who got their phones today :apple:

You needed to wait till midnight. You ordered early and got punished. Follow directions

Congratz and happy to hear you are happy with your 6. It will be interesting to see how people feel with the Plus after having them in their pockets for a few days...
 
I'm waiting on UPS per usual which will probably mean they're not coming until damn near 8pm. If I was at work I would have missed the package at 8:07 a.m.
 
Mine just showed up! To all those worried, if it says 19th delivery it WILL be there. UPS stays out till 7PM, and most drivers will not go back until they are done. (Its not a company policy though, they're allowed to go home when their shift is done ;3)

Well. Another Launch Day in the bag. Over 5k posts on this thread alone and I think I can say I've read over 75% of them.

You guys are an awesome bunch of people!! Made some awesome friends this year through this preorder craziness!

Can't say I'll keep up too much with this thread now. See you all for the watch launch!

If not, iPhone 6S (or whatever they will call it) in a year!

But seriously, AT&T had no 6+ in stock? Zero? Zilch? How can that be? I should've done my homework. I wasn't even sure if I could order through Apple as I was using the AT&T Next plan for the first time.
 
Been out for delivery since 6:11am. >__< I can trust the UPS guy, right? Right?

The anxiety is killing me and time is going by slower than ever. I feel like I'm grounded. I can't even listen to music in fear of missing him.

I refuse to order from the carriers just due to the stories I've heard over the years. I haven't stepped foot in the AT&T store in years! I almost went to AT&T when the Apple store wasn't coming up but decided I'd wait till the store came up. Glad I did in the end.

I just got my phones from Santa in the big brown truck. I am really impressed with the size of the 6. I don't think the cutouts did it justice. They were accurate but I felt like it would only be a little bigger and not very noticeable. Thats definitely not the case. Still restoring from backup so I haven't seen the display in all its glory quite yet.

Got it! It's a beaut... now if I can use it without activating it on the main line, adding a line that would be great.

not worried just want, want, want to rule the world with my mega jumbo iPhone, i bet the next one will be like the size of a shuffle

btw, i had to delete every app off of 16GB iPad mini just to upgrade to IOS8, it was left with like 3GB + change for apps, how will the 16GB iPhones operate? i've always had 16GB but not sure it will cut it anymore at least based on my iPad mini that has no email, no pics, has iTunes match so everything is in cloud....

I'm just going to wait. I read an article today on MacDailyNews that said iPhone 6+ models were having production issues. According to them, the 6+ was having a very high screen rejection rate during manufacture. All of us 6+ customers might be in for a unexpected long wait.
 
I ordered two T-Mobile iPhone 6 64GB Space Grey models as soon as I could get into Apple's site last Friday morning. One was for me, one for the wife. Both were to be delivered today and showed the same tracking info all along the way. However, when the UPS truck came around noon, only one iPhone was delivered. I called UPS about the other, and despite the tracking information showing it was in Greensboro, NC (I'm in Winston-Salem), UPS said it was actually in Kentucky still and will not be here until Monday. I am not happy. :confused:
