Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

I find it funny that I pre-ordered my gold 6+ 128gb on the 9/12 around 8am then ordered my hubby's around 2pm same day BOTH w delivery dates between 10/13-10/20 and mine is still in frickin China or Korea (UPS is purposely throwing me off) but his is already in Alaska?!!?! His first said delivery date of 10/1 then 10/2 while mine said 10/2 and NOW mine says 10/6?!?! But his is still tomorrow 10/2?? Wth!!! Like i said, it's so confusing and annoying but can't help it. Excited for my new phablet! :)

This morning I thought my 6+ would be out of China at 4:25pm and was glad to see an arrival scan in Incheon, Korea. All good, right? And then boom, a third departure scan at 7:10pm for the third time.

I am never getting the phone, I suppose. Or perhaps I will get it on 10/6 as UPS page currently says.

Just a random question. We're all tracking the Hong Kong / Shanghai / Incheon to Anchorage leg of the delivery on Flightaware. Has anyone been able to figure out the initial leg? ie, Zhengzhou to XXX?

Same as you- arrival in Louisville early this morning, scheduled delivery in Eastern Washington today but no new tracking entries. Will just have to wait and see.
 
My order just got updated to "Import Scan" at Louisville, at 10:42 AM. Isn't the importing done in Anchorage?

AND the delivery date got moved to tomorrow. Nuts.

Delivery just got moved back one day, which makes sense given that its still in Louisville.
 
My phone apparently like others is going back to China. Just called UPS. The nice lady politely said that I just keep tracking. Basically their systems are overloaded. So I might get mine tomorrow. I might not. Damn! I was hoping before the weekend.

Btw by now FedEx would have lost the package. I have lost 4 items with them. Never with UPS.
 
Just tried to get some information from UPS. I was in the Oct 13-20 group, and my phone has been processing/in China since the 26th. My delivery date was Oct 2, but slipped to Oct 6 the other day.

Mine has since seemingly gotten to Korea, then back to Zheng Zhou.

UPS didn't have any information like it gave some of you about its delivery, instead telling me that there were customs issues. The rep even went as far as telling me there was no delivery date for my device yet. (Even though their site says Oct 6). I just want to know when to post the presign memo to my door so I don't have to drive around town looking for my 6 Plus.

Right there with ya. Still says in Alaska for me, delivery scheduled for tomorrow.
 
I also just got the import scan at Louisville and delivery date changed from today to tomorrow.

I called the 800 number. They now have a dedicated extension for all iphone delivery questions. The person i was redirected to eventually and who gave me the info identified as an apple shipping specialist.
 
I just got something new....

Interestingly ZZ has a direct China Southern Airlines flight to PANC. Doesn't UPS sometimes lease cargo space on commercial airliners?

OMG!! I just got this message on UPS!! My phone "didn't make the plane"!!!! Like WHAAAT??? Anyone else???

Same Here. I think we are going to be still stuck in China when iPhones will be available easily in neighbourhood stores.
 
A this point I don't think my phone is going to leave china. It's still sitting in ZZ waiting a flight to Korea or HK or somewhere. I think I should start looking at flying into ZZ and picking my phone up at the local UPS office, I think I'd get it quicker then trying to let UPS get it out of China.
