People need to calm down lol it's a phone im sure you aren't in dire need. So what if you get it a day later. First world problems at its finest

Ordered 1 (6+ 128GB SG) on the 20th and another (same) 21st.

Original Apple delivery estimate 10-21- 10/28.

Shipped on 9-27. New Apple estimate 10-06.

UPS estimate delivery date 10-02 (EOD).

Currently stuck in AK for the last 27 hrs...

Humm... Lucky you...

I ordered mine (6+ 128 SG) last Sept. the 12th, no additional items. Initially (Sept. the 26th) I received October the 2nd (that would be tomorrow) as delivery date. Then time passed, and no news from ZhengZhou for up to FOUR days. Yesterday my sister called UPS and they said definitely the package would be delivered next friday, but then I saw a change in delivery date for next Monday... Now it's stuck in Korea because "They were unable to load the package on the plane as scheduled". Fortunately, there have no been further delays on delivery date (until now). If they do so, I will lose the shipment, because the phone is intended for someone who is to leave US soil next tuesday...

Like I said... Lucky you. At least you're not going anywhere until the phone arrives.

Departure scan from Louisville!!!!!

Just got a "departure scan" from Louisville !!!!! So there's HOPE!

Maybe this sequence will help someone else grapple with this most mystifying pre-order/delivery epic...

UPS delivery date: tomorrow by end of day
Location: to CA Central Coast by way of Ontario and Santa Maria, CA
Order date: 9/12 @ 3:30 am
Initial delivery dates: 10/13-20
Apple delivery date on shipping confirmation: 10/6/14
Days Processing: about 4
Days Prep for shipping: 10
Shipping from ZhengZhou: 4
Days from ZZ to Shanghai to Anchorage to Louisville: 24 hours
Days in Louisville without movement: 3
First movement since Louisville "arrival scan": this morning, changed to "import scan"

:D

Just a random question. We're all tracking the Hong Kong / Shanghai / Incheon to Anchorage leg of the delivery on Flightaware. Has anyone been able to figure out the initial leg? ie, Zhengzhou to XXX?

Mine went directly from ZZ to Shanghai. Then from Shanghai to Anchorage. Been sittin in Anchorage since 1:25pm 9/29.

Anyone's tracking look like this?

Woot!….
Hey Do you remember your very first first first UPS delivery date estimate? I mean the first one UPS gave you after the initial origin scan. My real question I guess is was after all the back and fourth with the dates did they meet the first scheduled delivery date???

I have the same issue. Phone delayed or "unable to be loaded in plane"

Bad news people, a friend of mine said:

"The reason they weren't loaded is because they never arrived. They were suppose to be there but they disappeared"

So disgusted. Might have been stolen or other. The above was all my friend said he was able to share.

Pretty sure I won't be getting mine this week.

No problem. Judging from others' posts it looks like the turn around time in Anchorage is pretty quick...there don't seem to be many delays from there. I think it's Louisville we have to worry about. :)

And I'm in Phoenix. It looks like UPS' Louisville to PHX flight departs around 5p and gets into PHX around the same time due to time difference. I don't think that bodes well for the probability of LOU>PHX>My Apartment happening in 1 day.

You on the other hand might be a bit luckier as it looks like the LOU to Philly flight happens early in the AM. Should give the UPS facility plenty of time to get the trucks out w/ your phone in them.

LOL...mine has been there for 27 hrs...

Sure this is not a life or death matter. But hey, WTH... We ordered this product in advance... Shouldn't we receive it in advance? Why on earth everybody just got it before us?

Now... A day later, a day earlier... Not a big difference, huh? Well... Just think that you're getting a no return plane on tuesday, and if the phone doesn't arrive on time, then is NO PHONE for you. Now, that's a real freaking difference, isn't?

Sure, these are just first world problems. Nobody will die for this, but I think that + US 1000 is a huge investment to lose.

i agree apple's definition of preorder is a lot different then the rest of the worlds

I ordered two 6+ 128GB Space Greys from the Apple Store...one on the 20th, the other on the 21st.

Both shipped on the 27th, arrived in Anchorage at 1:33pm 9/30/2014 and neither have departed. Delivery estimate says Thursday...should I start to worry?

How long do they normally sit in AK before heading to KY?

Still waiting on an answer for this one...still hasn't left AK...

Import Scan to Departure Scan!

It appears my 6+ 128 GB is on the plane, status just changed from Import Scan to Departure Scan. 10/2 delivery might be a reality?

:eek::apple:

I'm anxious and excited myself but its pathetic that people are saying they're calling Apple to ask about UPS-related stuff (as if Apple would know why your phone was stuck in a city for a few days) or asking why its taking so long to process even though they were quoted 3-4 weeks, and then bugging UPS while they are still within their original estimated delivery time provided by Apple when they ordered.

I get it. We're anxious and excited. I don't like how pre-orders for the 6 Plus were handled and my phone has been stuck in AK for 2 days. But for goodness sake, they're shipping thousands of iPhones as fast as they can, it's better than a full-on delayed launch. Nobody knows where your phone is sitting right now. Be patient. If your estimated delivery date passes, by all means, complain to Apple!

Some people have had their phone leave Anchorage in 2 hours others (a large group of us) have their phone sitting in Anchorage for the past 48 hours with no change or movement. Delivery date by EOD tomorrow. Doesn't seem likely. Others have said that maybe they missed scanning it on leaving AK but it has NOT been scanned arriving anywhere either.

Same for me. Hopefully it does actually get here tomorrow. In Central Florida though.:D:apple:

That's exactly what I have. Sucks. Originally it said I was getting my 6 tomorrow. Ordered on 9/24 via the Apple online store. I hope it doesn't get delayed until Tuesday now, since it will be a day behind.

Why couldn't they get all the phones on the damn plane?

Agreed. However, Apple's model of direct to consumer from manufacturer causes these issues. I don't believe UPS really understood the magnitude of delivering these items.

Thanks...hoping the mixup theory doesn't cause our phones to get lost in the system...
