I found this to be very odd as well. Is it possible that these scans are entering the system late or something?
My card hasn't even been charged yet
Mine is stuck in Anchorage, supposedly.
I counted 8 flights by UPS yesterday (09-30) from Anchorage to Louisville and only two today (10-01).
I still have a 10/02 delivery date...so far.
No problem. Judging from others' posts it looks like the turn around time in Anchorage is pretty quick...there don't seem to be many delays from there. I think it's Louisville we have to worry about.![]()
Same here. I've been "Processing" for 7 days now.![]()
Mine showed "processing" for 15 days before it moved to "preparing for shipment" which it has been on for two days now.

I posted in another thread but realized it may get more views here. I upgraded to a 6 and want to make an exchange. I was told since I upgraded I have to return the phone, wait for verizon to credit back my upgrade eligibility and then come back to the apple store and repurchase. So this would make me phoneless and hope that they still have a phone in stock when I can upgrade again in the store.
This surely can't be the process as I have seen many comments in places stating they just went back to the apple store and exchanged for another phone, be it a 6 or 6+, and paid the difference or credited back the difference even if they used an upgrade.
Can anyone give me a rundown of their exchange process after an upgrade? Any and all comments welcome to cover all scenarios. I appreciate it everyone!
I originally purchased a 6+ from Apple but after receiving it, felt it was too big for me. I called Apple because I was unable to initiate the return online. They told me the return would have to be processed by Apple before my upgrade eligibility would be reset (which I was told could take 24-48 hours). I was told that I could either mail the phone back or take it to an Apple Store. I figured it would be quicker through the store and by chance they had a "sold out" 6 for me. The return would not go through at the store and ultimately I had to mail it back. It took 2 days for Apple to get the phone and after emailing me the that my return was complete, my eligibility was reset almost immediately.
Exactly! Ordered on the 15th in the 14-21 group. That's exactly how mine is. Ordered the 15th, preparing for shipment for the past 2 days. CC charged when it went into preparing for shipment.
You must have a ship date of 14-21st also right?
Let's hope we both get tracking numbers soon
Mine is a 64g att grey

The story is all the same, I wish I knew when it was actually coming or even where it really was....

I ordered mine on September 13th at around 4pm. It barely switched to "preparing for shipment" on Monday night! Estimated delivery October 14-21

One thing I've learned in my old age - the world is a cruel, cruel place.
I went onto the online Apple Store and simulated buying the 128 GB, silver iPhone 6 Plus. To my surprise, there is inventory at numerous Apple Stores in my area. I mean a lot of Apple Stores. So, I call the Columbia, MD Apple Store. The guy said that I'd have to cancel my online order and transferred me to do that. He assured me that they have a good supply and that other stores in the area have them too. So, i talk with the online Apple Store guy. He said, "Do you have AT&T?" I said yes. He said, "Do you have eligibility?" I said yes. He says, "AT&T can take up to a week to reset your eligibility." Thus, I am stuck with waiting for the ****** iPhone when the Apple Stores in my area are rolling in them.
Memo to me - don't ever again preorder the ****** iPhone.
