Seems that way. I'm debating going for Will Call in Winston tomorrow or waiting until morning and seeing if it makes the truck for delivery. Thoughts?

Should give you the option to "change delivery" on your UPS tracking page, when you're signed in.
I am supposing the phones stayed on the plane in Anchorage. Because if they were unloaded then they would have had to go through customs.

So, I've been having my troubles getting my new iPhone 6 Plus. I ordered one on 9/20 and got a 10/20-27 delivery date. I've ranted on here before about how I got screwed by Apple when I saw one online in a store and tried to get that one instead, and couldn't, which cost me my space in the order queue. I ordered and canceled and ordered again a number of times. I wanted to get a 64GB model on VZW in Space Gray, but there are NONE to be found anywhere. There were a few 128GB in the local area, but every time I saw one and tried to buy it, I got to the point in the process where I could pick a store for pickup, and by then they had all gotten sold and were no longer available.
Then, today, I was grazing through the inventories at some not-so-local Apple stores. I had just checked with iDeviceChecker and iStockNow, and they showed not a single model anywhere in the country. But, when I checked the Apple stores, I could not believe my eyes when a 64GB Plus in SG on VZW popped up at one of them. I could not get my existing order cancelled quickly enough, though I did, and I could actually order this phone. I went and picked it up just now, and feel very lucky that I could get it.
I have no idea why the Apple gods decided to smile on me today. That's never happened to me before. But they did. And this phone, as you will all find out when you get yours (and I hope that happens soon) is a miracle of technology. Unbelievable. I don't know why people say the Plus is too big. Yes, it's big, but it fits my mitts perfectly. I always sucked at typing on the iPhone 5 keyboard.
Best of luck to everyone. Believe me, it's frustrating, but it will be worth the wait. And graze through the Apple store inventories every now and then. Maybe lightning can strike more than once.

<redacted>.: Unfortunately we do not have the information on the routes or stops that the package will be at. This is due to security purposes.
Dustin: Fair enough, but from a logistical standpoint, would you say a package destined for Arizona would go all the way to Kentucky and then all the way back west to Ontario, or would it go straight to Ontario?
<redacted>: That is possible. The reason is because all Air shipment will need to be scanned at our Main sorting point which is located in KY.
Dustin: Ah okay, and that is an absolute for ALL shipments coming via air regardless of destination?

I honestly am not sure.
I have never tracked anything like this that ships via air. Normally packages for our house go through Hodgekins IL, then take a truck to Bloomington, IL, and are out from delivery form there.
It will be interesting to see how the routing happens since it sounds like the package will go from Louisville to Rockford. Surely the package will still route through the Bloomington location? I think the package can get to Rockford in enough time, but I do not believe that it will make it to Bloomington in enough time to go out for delivery tomorrow morning.
I hope UPS proves me wrong though.

Look at the flight tracks. Flight plan has them flying into the continental US and then are flying east to get around the storms. lol
Once you get the departure scan from Anchorage, it seems to move pretty quickly. I had a 2:41 pm Anchorage departure scan on 10/1, it arrived in Louisville at 12:35 am on 10/2, departed at 4:13 am, arrived in Philly at 5:40 am and was out for delivery at 8:02 am today, 10/2.

Order on Sept 25th
I dicked around hoping to find a phone locally, but all the big box stores only had 16gb models and I wanted a 64. No local Apple stores.
So I ordered it on the 25th and my phone is still processing with "available to ship" in 3-4 weeks. Showing delivery Oct 24-31. Anybody else in this time frame?

I have two 64GB 6 SG & Golds on the way from Anchorage, (supposedly) after a 3 day stay in Shanghai. Tracking shows a departure scan @ 4:19pm and the other @ 4:49pm. If this is correct, it couldn't have left on any of the UPS planes today. Wonder if I missed the party or if another plane(s) is/are chartered that we don't know about...
I would imagine you only get the departure scan if the package went somewhere. Anyone else have a late departure time as well?

I ordered 3 on 9/19 2 silver and 1 SG, silvers are in SG still processing....all 64GB
went and bought one 6 plus space grey 128gb in store today and it is sweet. still preparing for shipment on the other 2

Flight 81 that came from Shanghai to AK today was the last plane out to Louisville from what I can tell on Flightview. It's the plane mine came on from Shanghai and is continuing on to Louisville. It has the same departure scan as your 1st ones does (4:19) which was updated on UPS site about an hour after the plane departed. Could be your 2nd phone is on the same flight if it's UPS tracking info was identical all the way up to AK. Here's a screen shot of my tracking info for comparison to yours...
For those that got on the 3:16 flight out of AK, do any of you have a delivery date?
