Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

You can sell on gazelle.com or nextworth.com (but generally less $$ than from Apple). You can get a buyback from Apple (you get a card for spending at the Apple Store) and you can also sell your phone to Amazon (you get a card for spending at Amazon). I did the Amazon buyback because I spend a lot of money annually with Amazon Prime. As soon as I get my new phone, my old one is going to Amazon!

I ordered an iPhone 6+ on-line, on Apple website, and I would like to know how I could still trade in my old iPhone 5. Or what option do I have.

(I know that if I were to go in person, in the store, to purchase the iPhone 6+, I would have the option to bring my iPhone 5 in to trade it. And same at At&t store. Of course I couldn't, because it's in high demand at this time; so I ordered on-line.)

So, what can I do? Thanks in advanced. :)

Turns out my phone spent the night at Anchorage. I hope it had a nice time there. Now time to get moving to Louisville!

UPS needs to hurry up and fix their tracking system, since mine went from "Anchorage -> Departed" back to "Billing Info. Received." How annoying.:mad:

Mine went from having a delivery date to having the label created. :confused:

Thanks for the reply of my direct question. I went ahead and placed my order today. Hopefully it won't go all the way to the 4th week for me to receive my order.

I ordered on 16 September and was processing until 10 October (original estimate was 10/13 - 10/20 but then changed to 10/14 - 10/21). "Preparing for shipment" lasted only about 1.5 days from late on 10/10 to midday 10/12

Yep find myself checking it more often than Facebook. I'm on day 22. Hopefully the updated email stating delivery dates of 13-20 will lead to it leaving the warehouse tomorrow and being here by the end of the week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
 
Day 22 here as well. Kinda sucks that if I had ordered one day earlier (on the 19th) I would have gotten a shipping confirmation or something.
 
Day 20 for me here.. Is it just me, or do two days of "processing items" feel like waiting six months in a dentist office....
 
Day 21...

I am sitting here looking at my order status, and hoping it will be released for shipping. After that happens, I will have to start tracking it, and hoping I will get it when UPS says it will be delivered.

All this, because I was not sure what phone I wanted at launch. I should have went with my instincts and purchased this phone on pre-order day the 12th. I would have had my phone for more than 2 weeks now. Instead I probably won't get it by the earliest of October 21st.:(

This happens every year I simply do not learn. Last year I tried to get the iPad mini and had to wait about a month.
