Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

I unfortunately got the same deal placing two orders. One went through for one line, but the other was declined due to fraud. I ordered through the Apple store app and if I go to orders I can still see it ships on 9/19, but the status is "Awaiting Payment" and lets me know my CC couldn't be authorized, but without the Apple store being up, I don't think there's anything I can do about it, but it appears as though we are gonna have a chance to correct it without losing our order. Here's hoping.

I have not. Just call your bank.
 
Went all the way thru the above link and it ends back at the webstore front page with "we'll be back soon" :-/ Dammit Apple.

Exactly... some people here have no clue the resources it takes to handle millions of transactions in a short period of time. Sure some companies could do better, but only a few (Amazon obviously).

There's also the issue of having to communicate w/ wireless carrier systems. Remember that Healthcare.gov fiasco? Yeah that's a decent analogy in terms of complexity.

I had this happen a few years ago... this year I used only one credit card per order to avoid it. A couple years ago Amex declined all of my orders and screwed me because I ordered 4 iPhones on one card :(

What a freaking nightmare.
 
There are only 3 days a year where Apple needs to get this right They can't seem to even pull that off.
 
finally got through using the upgrade eligibility, but it said would ship in 7-10 days. how likely is it i'll receive it by next friday??

verizon gold 6+ 128gb

i checked all variations and they all had the same shipping estimate
