pre-order site went live 8 min early. received 2 email order confirmations 10min after.
easy with the iPhone 5... and now with the iPhone 6

I checked my Discover card app- $318 ATT charge is pending, so are at couple $1 charge for Apple.

My order went through and I got email confirmation from ordering in the apple store app, but my card has yet to be charged anything or have any pending charges. Has anyone else been charged yet or do I have something to worry about?
I got my order in of the iPhone Plus 64GB Space gray on AT&It's site at 12:06PDT. Had a $1 hold in my bank almost immediately but didn't get email confirmation till 2:10am. Says its not shipping for 21-28 business days. So either AT&T had little/no devices in my configuration or they weren't doing first come first served. Oh well. I've gone without an iPhone for 2 years. I can wait another month.

I say all this now. Of course my wife's phone (iPhone 6 64GB silver) is set to arrive on the 19th (ordered 15 min after mine by the way). I'm sure I'll be all kinds of bitter and jealous when she has has hers.
Does anyone know if these shipping estimates are normally accurate? or normally worst case scenarios ?

I started last night at 1am MDT, hoping for a 64g,gray plus. I tried all three techniques: apple store site, verizon site and apple store app. After a half hour, I gave up on first two and stuck with the app, cycling through configurations (all said unavailable), until finally at 2:15am I got a hit on a gold 128g plus and went with it. I have a 9/19 delivery. I felt like I was playing a game and the goal was to get any plus with a 9/19 delivery
This was my first experience pre-ordering a phone . It was way more frustrating than my pre-order for a new Mac Pro.

You might wanna check your order status through the apple app. It said my credit card could not be authorized and I had to log in right now to authorize it and I have been charged now.
Anybody having trouble seeing their order status with ? I ordered through the iPad app, received a confirmation email at 12:44AM with an order number and delivery date of 9/19. When I check orders in the app or on the website I just get errors.
So I had ordered mine and tried ordering one for a friend afterwards. By 4:45 I had given up but through all the glitches and crashing of the app, somehow a phone had gotten reserved without me doing anything more than selecting color, size, and carrier.
Just woke up and 2 emails were waiting at 5:30 and 10 am ESt confirming the reservation and contained a link for me to complete the order. And Inwas able to get the order through 1,2,3. Gold 64 Verizon and it delivers 9/19. The reservation thankfully held the date as well as now everything is showing 3-4 weeks.
Definitely the worst pre-order experience with Apple. The i5 was way smoother than this.

It's in the "Processing Items:" stage. I don't see any errors unless I am missing something... still no charge though.
Verizon is the best.
I ordered at 3 AM at full price directly from Verizon's website and it said "will deliver by 19".
It was red, bold, loud, and clear. So, I'm pretty sure it will be here on the 19th. Very likely earlier than that.
On my order confirmation it also says BY. Which probably implies that I will get it earlier.

Was anybody able to order an off-contract (T-Mobile) iPhone 6+ via Apple.com and still get either 09/19 delivery or store pickup? I kept trying the site for about an hour and a half, passed out, woke up again and was able to get my order in at 3:22 AM PST but by that time I was already being quoted 7-10 business days (Oct. 1-6).
Have others card's been charged yet? Mine also still says "Processing Items".

I ordered this morning (around 3:30AM) through the Apple Store app on my iPad and it processed....then received an e-mail about 30 minutes ago saying that my payment was declined by my bank! Bank of America declined it because they thought it was "fraudulent" due to my CC info possibly being compromised for unknown reasons.
Before I exploded in anger they were able to "authorize" it if it went through again and luckily was able to "reauthorize" through the order status option on apple.com. It went through and charged my account. It still says 9/19 delivery and I'm really hoping it doesn't change because of the first failed attempt

ordered from the apple store app this morning and i checked my credit card - pending charge from apple store.

I placed my order, 3-4 weeks, first time I wont be a launch day owner, no biggy though, go the one I wanted.
Had I known the apple site would've sucked so bad, I would've just not stayed up and still probably gotten the 3-4 week window, oh well, it was fun!
