Mine says preparing to ship but not for 9/19?

I spoke to apple support, for people with OCT dates, there is a chance yours will ship and you will get it on launch day...the date they give is worst case scenario, you wont get it before the 19th, but you can get it earlier
 
Both iPhones in my order say "Preparing for Shipment Delivers: 9/19 by Standard Shipping", both are 6+, one 64, the other 128 gb. So exited! :D

Call. Don't call the order status number if you are a premier customer. They are only open during the week. I called the regular customer service number and was able to cancel my premier order.

My last preorder came from China as well. The article MacRumors posted about a week ago stated that there were probably less than 1 million units in the shipment that arrived in Chicago so maybe those are restricted to the stores.
 
I can't wait! Only thing I didn't like about my 5s was the small screen.

Ordered my wife a gold 6 as well. Hers is an in store pickup. I wanted mine to be as well, but it wasn't an option.

Status Just updated to preparing for shipment!!! 6+ Space Gray 64GB ATT order 3:45 am via apple app store. Relieved.
 
Ordered 4 IPhones and 4 Cases. The 4 cases and 2 iPhone preparing for shipment 2 others still on the processing stage.

All t-mobile on Apple.com. Bought launch day 5:30 am CDT
 
Mine is still in the processing phase with a 10/1 -10/6 delivery. I ordered with the apple store app around 3:45 am EST as soon as it let me through. Space Grey 6 Plus with 128 gb. I haven't even been charged yet and no holds in my bank account. I'm kind of bummed
 
I went on 2 year contract and chose In store Pickup but I noticed a lot of people saying that orders placed on ATT Next program are not offered in store pickup!
Does anybody know the reasoning behind this?

I dont understand how the preorders went through. I ordered my 64gb iPhone + black at 5:00 EST and got a Oct 1-7 date. It seems like Apples servers were so fouled up, that dates got all kinds of shuffled. Im holding out hope that once things get settled, those of us with Oct -7 dates will get ours earlier
