That can't be accurate tracking info. There is no way these are going to ship through Mail Innovations at UPS. That's the service where they ship it via UPS to the post office in your town and then the postal carrier delivers it to your mailbox.

With items as valuable as iPhones they are not going to be delivering them without a signature or putting them in your mailbox.

I went to bed at 2AM since the Apple Store was unavailable and the iOS App didn't let me select a contract-free unit. I set my alarm at 6AM and no drama from there.

I usually waited in-line on launch day, except the 3GS and this iPhone 6. Let's see how it goes.

Now I just checked and it's 'preparing for shipment'.
 
Can any of you with the preparing shipment tell me if Apple has charged your card or even if a temp authorization is showing? I ordered and shows a delivery of October 1-7 (the 7-10 Day) but I don't have any charges on my CC yet. Is that normal? I assumed there'd be a $1.00 temp just to check the card, but there isn't.
 
128GB, Space Gray, 6 ATT ordered on apple store app is now preparing for shipment. Ordered 4:37 am CDT. Delivers by 9/19.

Both of mine are showing as pending transaction on my CC.
 
Ordered a 128GB 6+ for TMO, confirmation of order at 2:20am PST, and I got stuck with Oct 1 - 6th window.

If the phone doesn't at least go to shipping by Thursday I will go to the store.

Which carrier (if applicable)? When I ordered at 1AM PDT, I could still get 6+ 128GB in Space Gray with AT&T (9/19 delivery). Not sure about other carriers.
 
I have to admit it's kind of weird, the TMO phone did not appear in the apple store app. Also, I was refreshing on three browsers (some windows / some mac), every 5 seconds directly connected to Verizon fiber router, I was also already signed into the apple store with the one click buy thing.

I wonder how many 6+ 128 TMO phones they sold within the 5 seconds, that made it so that my order was delayed until Oct 1?

Someone just mentioned to me that the "Delivery Status Touch" app (sorry, $4.99) can handle Apple store order numbers (I'm just a happy customer, and have no connection to the developer). I just entered all of my orders (hopefully, I won't have to re-enter the tracking numbers when I get them).

looks like a cool app hope they have it for iPad, I don't have an iPhone....yet.

Mine changed as well order on apple at about 3:40 am est. AT&T canceled the one through them without me calling cause the apple one got processed first.

I ordered at 2:20AM. 128GB i6+, but I'm still processing, and I haven't been charged.

How come others in here ordered later than me, but are getting them on 9/19? Is it possible that my shipment delivery date could be pushed up? I'm just not sure how come people that ordered later in the morning are getting theirs before me. So frustrating. Also, how come I haven't been charged yet?

EXACT situation I'm in but ordered close to 2:18am PST 6+ 128 apple.com TMO. I was on a auto refresh every 5 seconds.

Ahhhh! My iPhone 6 Gold 64GB VZW finally went to "preparing for shipment"!!!

It means basically nothing, I know, but I'm excited to see some changes! Also I was paranoid I'd get an email or something from Capital One saying they blocked the charge for some reason.

Ordered at 12:48am PST on the 12th through Apple App
