Ordered 3 minutes in, with 4/24-5/08 delivery range, and I'm still stuck at "Processing" with no charges having gone through. So in respect to this quote:

"Our team is working to fill orders as quickly as possible based on the available supply and the order in which they were received."

Bull. ****ing. ****.
 
Can't wait to read all of the posts saying, "I told you so" about the false scarcity marketing tactics by Apple.
 
yet here i am with a 3:07 confirm for a 42mm SS/Milanese without as much as a charge on my card.

Here I am with 12:04am (PST) confirmation for 42mm SS Milanese, no charge, no change.

My wife ordered the 42mm SS with classic buckle at 12:05am and my daughter ordered the 42mm SS with classic buckle at 12:13am. They have both been charged and have been updated to preparing for shipment.
 
WHERE IS THE LOGIC... same here. How are people who have their shipment date a month from now beginning to ship, while mine is 4-7 days away but still processing? cmonnnnnnnnn

The kicker will be if one of the June shipments happens to be a space gray sport or black SS.

Wahhhh, I might not get my watch any earlier than what was promised. How dare Apple do that to me?!?!?!? I'm the most loyal customer they have out of the umpteen million on their list. I own 47 of their products! Wahhh! I willingly gave them my money before I knew when my watch was going to ship and now they're telling me it won't ship early! My gawd people, lighten up. Nearly a million orders in the first day and you want to be at the top of the list? Go tell a starving child in Africa about your first-world problem.
 
but they are still radio silent on the completely unavailable SS Black Link watch....where are they? why were they not ready?

I haven't heard of a single Link watch moving out of processing...

This sucks.
 
I ordered 3 watches within the first 10 minutes of the store going live. The 42 mm Milanese says 4/24 - 5/8, the others (one stainless with black sport and one sport with pink band) are mid May. I have not had any update on any of my watches. All still say processing and no credit card activity. Very strange how they are rolling things out.

tl;dr, customers who shell out $$$'s for consumer products, stay up till 12-3 in the morning, then get PROMISED certain delivery days... all while eventually finding out its not going to be delivered in order... i think they have the right to complain
 
Your posts are hilarious. I liked the Bruce Lee one as well. The Jeremiah Johnson one was great. Still waiting on my Two 42 MM Sports Watches to be shipped. All in due time.

I was really surprised because I got my order in like 3 minutes after the store came back up and it said my order would not ship till the middle of May. Might still I guess but I hope I am one of those who get it sooner.

I doubt Apple is "skipping" orders. According to their own statements, they are processing orders in the order received. Apparently some of the models are in more plentiful supply (e.g. the Stainless Steel with white sport band) and so they are able to ship them out faster than expected. What's wrong with that? Maybe they were able to resolve the production issues on certain models a bit more quickly than they expected.

Me as well, I got my order in within a few minutes and have May delivery. Says processing right now, hoping to wake up with a ship email tomorrow.

So Apple should hold up someone's Classic Band watch that's ready now until they can deliver someone else's link band when it's ready in June?

Apple is delivering products in some cases earlier than they had estimated. As long as they deliver it within or before the original window promised, what's the problem? The earliest they told anyone was 4/24-5/8. They never said that certain people would get it 4/24, or that if you ordered yours first you'd get yours first. Different configurations are in more plentiful supply.
 
This is great news!
Apple is probably having to pay overtime to meet all the demand but they once again are showing that they care more about their customers than they care about profit margins.

Really are you sure it doesn't say delivery for May 14-28?
Cause that's what mine shows and I pre ordered mine on April 12 maybe mine will hopefully ship out soon
 
Good news.
UK - S Steel Apple Watch 38mm, Black Sports Band ordered 08:23 and due for delivery 12 - 26 May is now showing as 'Preparing for Dispatch' - Paypal payment also showing as authorised.
 
Well done apple, you created an impression that the demand was huge and back orders went back months, and now you can deliver way ahead of time . They are the masters of markerting.

Very interesting seeing some people with June delivery estimates getting prepared for dispatch updates... Awesome for customer though!!
