As others have mentioned... I wish this supported iMesssage.

I'm assuming this isn't a thing because it would allow people with no actual Apple devices to use it.

I can't use a Mac at work... It would be nice to still have a way to iMessage people without having to drag another device with a physical keyboard around. Nothing wrong with using my iPhone XS, but I prefer a real keyboard.

I have a custom domain set up in Gmail / G Suite as my primary email address (got it when you could use Google Apps for free, which I guess they now call G Suite Legacy Free Edition). I'm guessing Apple will never provide a comparable solution, but I wish they would, so I could migrate everything to iCloud and get it out of Google's hands.
Well I de-googled myself by switching to Microsoft. Although few years ago I would have been called crazy. But today it really comes down on the business model. Apple = hardware company, Microsoft = software company while Google = pure advertising company. I decided to go with lesser evil. I also wish that Apple made friends with DuckDuckGo and maybe work actively to help improve their search engine which I use daily as my replacement. I hope I’m not going too much off topic here.

FWIW, while the overall look of the beta is nice, I continue to take issue with Apple's design's for not making good use of screen space. Today's monitors are (a) high resolution, and (b) frequently large. For example, I'm using a 34" ultra wide at 3440x1440. Though not a roadblock issue by any mean, the beta site's icon are now TINY on my screen. How does that improve anything? I would rather see Apple focused on making the best use of whatever screen space is available.

No, but it is Apple's CHOICE to make the icons smaller.

VERY few people are using a 34" monitor. Don't get me wrong, I've been using a 27" 5k monitor for ages and I run it at a higher resolution using SwitchRes.

Again, you can change the size of the icons in Safari by pressing CMD + or changing the settings for the website so it's automatically every time. This is a non-issue.

Welcome to BETA software.
Finding and discussing/reporting bugs in betas is exactly what we're meant to do.

However, in my case that you quoted, the Photos app in iCloud isn't in beta. It's the website itself that's in beta. The Photos app in the non-beta icloud.com site crashes the same. I just took the opportunity to mention it here :)

please tell me they finally updated notes
[doublepost=1566524985][/doublepost]no notes update and no auto dark mode
What's missing from the iCloud.com version of Notes? It looks more or less identical to the iOS 12 version, to me. Am I missing something?

I wish they would put iMessage in this so I can have iMessage on any computer I use.

I turned iMessage on on my MBP, and it caused iMessages to stop being received by my phone! I turned it off on my laptop, and the iMessages still didn't turn up on my phone. So I had to disable iMessages on my phone settings, which thankfully worked. And even though I've disabled iMessage on my laptop, the laptop still comes up with the little popup notification icon to the left of my dock whenever I open messages on my phone. I tried googling, but couldn't find an answer to this. Does anyone have any ideas?

Interestingly the reminders app is not updated for me on the beta site. I wonder why that would be. The rest seems a lot faster though not without issues.

I want third party iCloud apps.

Everything (pretty much) that you can do on an iPhone or a Mac you should be able to do in iCloud. Just login... and access your entire digital life.
your life on the net. why does it have to be so hard. why can't Apple figure this out. what are they spending all that money on besides the party people that own all the stock
[doublepost=1566612771][/doublepost]
If all you want is Apple's proprietary messaging (and not SMS too), what you describe should be possible without having to remote control your phone (what Messages on the Mac or iPad do for SMS, I guess; but locally, not through the cloud); but then the difference between phone and web app might be confusing to some.
and their green bubbles I can't sent a pict to them. the message app is still a childrens game. don't know if it's Apple or Google to blame but fix this so I can just grab a pict and drop and send. it's an IOS thing. they are trying to merge. that will be a cluster F

interesting that they still have Find Friends & Find iPhone still segregated on the site. anyone know why it appears the two wont be merged on icloud.com?

I'm guessing the combined version of the combined web app is still being built and tested. In the meantime the beta still has to work, so they're keeping it separate

So, an all white background AND smaller icons!

Thanks Apple, from those of us with bad vision we applaud this idiotic move.
Just a thought – I use Firefox and can quickly resize any screen my holding the Cmd key and moving the scroll wheel on my mouse. In Safari, it's Cmd-+ (or minus). I just checked and it works for the iCloud beta and I use it on nearly all websites to get the size I want.

I also want iMessage in the iCloud website but until that day comes (if ever) I use the free Teamviewer on my Windows PC at work to access my MBP at home to remote in and use iMessage on my MBP.

Write to your app developers! shame on them for not providing this functionality. Or are you saying you want an iCloudOS? Maybe Android Licorice Sticks will beat Apple to this innovation
iCloudOS. Yes, yes, yes please !!!

Good news but I want iMessage on that page !
It's so annoying that I need to use my iPhone to chat with my contacts.

Agree with you, iMessage via web would be awesome ... it's not acceptable to use a TV to do so in 2019 :(

Exactly how do you delete an email? All I see are reply, flag, archive, and move.

You use the delete key on the keyboard OR hit the trash can icon (which is next to the other icons you mentioned). That deletes for me, it doesn't archive it,

No. Your browser would be totally capable to encrypt/decrypt on device.

How do you create a web solution which does not allow Apple to decrypt the message, allows the message to not be stored long on Apple servers and still allow many different devices?
