Yeah, that's why the base MacBook went from 8 to 16. I mean yes 12GB is far better than 8, but for a Pro device you will want to keep for many years and still be relevant, the 12GB will date it pretty fast.

Crap - this alone will warrant the upgrade for me as long as it support 4k 120Hz. Not sure why they didn't just support 144Hz or 165Hz right out of the box or even 240hz, but guess 120Hz is good enough for now.

nah they did make an announcement yesterday! They removed the + and gave you the new Apple TV that has shows like Snoopy on it for the newly increased price of $12.99 per month.

I still have an M1 11” iPad Pro, and for my use case, it has not yet reached even half of its potential.

Before iPadOS 26, the iPad was for me just a large iPhone. However, this year it has become exponentially more useful thanks to window management, the Journal app and WhatsApp.

When? Tomorrow? Next week? Next month? No one knows.
Mark Gurman also wrote in his newsletter that Apple TV was still in development.

Someone needs to give me a REAL reason to upgrade my M4 to an M5 with the $696 trade in value. I honestly can’t find one reason as i use it for media and entertainment consumption.

I don't understand this fascination with thin bezels. I like the way they are on the M4. If the bezels are too thin, you will always be accidentally clicking on the active screen while holding the device.
