unless you use 3rd party apps for work and you have no way of setting it as default - I mean, Android give us much Bloat-Ware as Apple but you can choose not to have it as a default.

Apple releasing/revamping this ''Switch'' site just a few week after the release of the new Samsung S8.

Coincidence??

I dont think so...

"Life is easier on iPhone'', not at all Apple. After 7 years using every new released iPhone I can tell you my life is much, much more easier (and a lot more productive) with my new S8 then every other iPhone from the past.

"Why is iPhone so fast'', no Apple. My new S8 is in some cases even faster/smoother then any of my previous iPhone 7 (or any of my earlier iPhones)

(Emphasis added)

Yes, in some cases sure. But overall the A10 is going to smoke the Qualcomm chip in the S8. It's just a better design for the purpose at hand, massively more powerful per core. Whether your life is easier is highly subjective. Apple's raw performance advantage really isn't.

I love the bold white fonts contrasted with colourful backgrounds :) (And that Apple Support girl is super cute!)

In the past year or two, I've had roughly 40 phones. A lot of them were Android's to try out new devices. Personally, I will never go back to Android because of their app situation and unreliability. I'm getting older and I just don't have the time nor patience to tweak all the billion settings on an Android phone to get it to work like I want it to. I much prefer the simplicity of iOS, with FaceTime and iMessages. At least 98% of the people I talk / text with have iPhones. Funny I say that, I can't remember the last time I seen a green text bubble.

Annoying is slighting different than none existent. Which of the adapters (dongles as they are called) have you tried? When the 7 first came out it was an issue because they didn't have them but now you can buy all kinds of two in one dongles even though they annoy you. So charging and music playback are possible.
If you look at the teardown there is an empty space where the left speaker ought to be, we shouldn't have to spend money on or fumble with adapters when Apple could have just included the darn thing.

Contradictorily enough, over the past couple years, I've had an increasing desire to try out an Android phone. Not that I dislike my 7 Plus, it's just over the past 10 years, I now find iOS structured and boring.
I was once like you. Then I got a job where I have to use various Android devices throughout the day and I can tell you, Android is ugly and uninspired. It really makes you appreciate what goes into making iOS so seemless and subtle in its beauty.

You mean where the taptic engine is? Since you have headphones right there just go ahead and hold the jack up to the bottom of the phone and take a look and see if you REALLY think there is room for a headphone jack.

Uh huh, go ahead and try it. Chances are you'll realize how GOOD it is for your operating system to be "structured and boring." I've tried top-of-the-line Android devices many times and everytime I come back it's like going back home. Everything just works across all of my devices and the experience is so smooth.

That 2nd video is pure nonsens

Androids getting better.

However, that's just it, Google made a dive in a cliff but offering a lot in early days and are now going back to fix their OS and features. As a developer, that's bad. They'll get there one day though, hopefully.

It's not an issue with Android rather an issue with manufacturers. Look at the Pixel, Android can be amazing.

No, I'm specifically referring to the Android experience. Everything from the colour schemes to the animations to the aesthetic of the apps it attracts. Just doesn't compare to iOS.

You somehow remind of those blackberry messenger App Store reviews from a couple years back...

You can use your current wired headphones with iPhone 7 out of the box.

except that I either need to keep the dongle on my phone, which is impossibly ugly and damaging, or buy several extra dongles so that each headphone has a dongle attached. (background, I keep a pair of headphone in my office, one in my car, one on the night stand and one in the sitting room, this way I have a pair at reach no matter where I am)
