These new rumors on the larger iMac though in terms of specs or screen size really. We all know about the design language, nothing new really here.

I CANNOT wait for these new iMacs however.

1I'll never buy another iMac again after how they handled the 2009 iMac GPU issue, but I give me this display with a Apple TV sized mac mini and I am all in.
One problem a Million years ago and You cry like a Baby! my early 2011 Mac Book Pro had a POS GPU and it did not stop me from buying another MBP which is Perfect.

I spent $3000 on a device they didn't stand behind. It should have lasted 10 years and I got barely nothing from it. Sorry I am not as forgiving. I still buy Apple I just won't buy their AIO.

I'm only worried about speaker performance with a thin design. I don't mind a bulge (giggety) on the back. Anybody who opened an iMac knows how much speakers is in there - it's a lot of speaker volume, and that enables the relatively good sound from the iMac rendering external speakers unnecessary for many.

So I want the minimized bezels as in the rendering - but please don't remove the speakers.
clear they cant be worse than it is now on the current one
Think about the 16" mbp has better sound speakers system than the 21.5" and very close to the big one
So.....you dont have to worry about that...in an 10mm thickness they can place far better speakers than the current system

Design looks like it will be a lot lighter to move around. If they get phenomenal GPU core performance, and heat dissipation is good compared to current iMacs this will insanely great buy IMHO.

Simply put can't wait to see these running. ;)

Hmm yea maybe. The sound in my 2013 27" Imac is way better than in my 2017 15" MBP. On the other hand, the sound from the tiny speakers on my 11" Ipad Pro is really impressive - so maybe they can pull it off.

Mark Gurman is really dropping goodies on us today, huh? It sounds like 2021 is going to be an amazing year for the Mac. Better MacBook Pro, redesigned iMac, new Cinema display, new Mac Pro- and Apple Silicon is just the icing on the cake! This looks like the best Mac lineup Apple has had in years, and basically satisfies everything anyone has been asking for. Looks like Apple is back to being ahead of the competition by miles- in every area, not just silicon.

Anyone else think Apple should just bite the bullet and make ultra wide screens standard?

Beyond the productivity benefits for work, it would make movies look dope...

Bold of you to think any computer would last 10 years.
My 11” air still works. So does my 2010 MBP. Same goes for my mirror door drive. Oh, so does my first gen Apple TV, and every iPhone, iPod, and iPad I have.

It’s Apples fault I expect them to last.

I’ve always been a portable Mac buyer, from the PowerBook era to date. I mean seriously the last desktop I bought (for my use) was the G4 Cube.

But given the new WFH era, the kids being a little older and doing more homework online, plus the switch from Intel and long-awaited bezel shrinking chin-ectomy of the iMac, and I’d happily buy a 24” version of this beauty.

I wanted this Design 12 years ago the stupid aluminum Clef Lip was just for the Apple Logo, Totally retarded.
If we’re being anatomically correct, all post-G4 iMacs have always had a double chin not a cleft lip.

Beyond looking ugly and increasingly dated, its only apparent use was to display the Apple logo and for most users, somewhere to stick pointless Post It notes.
