I really hated I am Legend, as they over-powered the Zombies. Climbing the sides of buildings? :-(
On the other hand, the previous version of that story - The Omega Man - was great. Most interesting detail is that they shot it in downtown LA on weekend so they would not have to worry about there being people around. That was how dead things were there at that time. Also, liked the Zombies better, and the love interest was more interesting.
It means: "I have very little of substance to add, so I will make an ad hominem attack on everyone who does not agree with me. I cannot accept that others might value different things and make different choices, so they must all be stupid and only I am smart."

Title should be “Apple wasted $120 million....” on Will Smith.

The ad hominem style attacks on people who approve of Apple’s output from time to time irk me to no end.

Why they didn't do the same as the book makes no sense. Not only does it make the title of the movie make more sense, but it actually would have made it a memorable movie.

shockingly it was pretty good.
I mean, the correct ending is so perfect and thought-provoking, and instead they went with “yay humans!” Ugh. Just riles me up.
The director Antoine Fuqua made that movie, I believe that person was criticizing Smith but said they like the movie the Equalizer the director made.
What a shame. For that kind of money they could have gotten a good actor.

he didn’t re-imagined it. He started in it and I’m glad he did NOT try to be Robin Williams - a fellow comedian for him. Smith has much too much respect but the story has had a very long time to age. It’s a Disney movie and ALL But one that I recall has been remade or “Re-mastered”. The pen with the Blue Bird singing on my shoulder — that’s neverbeen retouched/re-made/etc.
Wow, once again someone who completely misunderstands the 3/5 compromise. It is exactly the opposite of how you described it. The point was to decrease the power of the slave owners, not dehumanize the slaves. The slave-holding states wanted to count slaves towards their representation in Congress, but they would not be allowed to vote. That would have given the slave-holders substantially more power. The free state opposed letting slaves be counted for that purpose at all. The compromise was the result. Imperfect but with the opposite goal and effect of your description.
Utter waste of money. Apple is getting desperate to play in Hollywood, but will never be a part of it.
