GAH! SO DO I!!!If they put the lock button back on the top of the phone, then that would help.
I hate it on the side.

That's what thisDon't take it too literal.
One big reason why I wanted the SE, was because the lock button is on top. While I wanted the smaller phone to be sure, the lock button was a very much welcome changeIf they put the lock button back on the top of the phone, then that would help.

Ceramic white is used in the white iphone 4/4s and parts of the silver 5/5s. It's not prohibitively expensive. Apple watch ceramic edition is overpriced gear.I find it hard to believe Apple would release it less than 1 year after the iPhone 7. Sure, June 29th 2017 would be ideal, but waiting until Fall is not gonna make Steve Jobs turn in his grave either.

I agree. The Apple Watch revisions are certainly hinting at whats expecting in Apple products like the iPhone and MacBook. I think ceramic white will be the new Jet Black, its just the cost will make it prohibitively expensive.
Apple acquired Linx not too long ago, and we can only assume that the camera seen in the 7+ is the result of their efforts:

Otherwise, I'm not too sure what this office would know about. Furthermore, while we already know the next iPhone will be a radical redesign, it likely won't be iPhone 8. I'm thinking iPhone X, or even a new name altogether. Think Powerbook -> Macbook Pro. Same product essentially, but re-brand of product name.
iPhone 4/4s white and 5/5s silver all use ceramic in parts of their construction. Apple Watch ceramic is overpriced. Ceramic glass isn't an expensive material. Apple's pricing is suspect.maybe because it's impractical and likely not going to happen? and if it does, it will be a special edition.
apple watch sport $299 42mm
ceramic apple watch $1299 42mm
the sport and iPhone 7 have the same aluminum. $1299 and there's not that much ceramic being used compared to a phone.
it would be cool, but if it comes out, expect to spend thousands.
Ha ha. This is a new patent just released
I have no doubts it'll be all true with the edge-to-edge display and no home button, and of course hope they'll release it sooner rather than later. But we've all been burned by delusions of grandeur before. Remember the rumours for the 4S?
Regardless, part of me can't wait for the waves of vitriol if the iPhone 7S is announced instead.![]()

The only reason it's there is because the phones are too tall. If they remove the chin and forehead from this next iPhone it will be much shorter so there's a chance they'll put it back on top again.
They might call it "the new iPhone"
My wife's 7 Plus in Rose Gold still haven't shipped and we are already talking about iPhone 8 rumors.
I doubt it, I think stock holders would complain if the next iteration does not cause people to camp out. Given the minor update of the iPhone 7 and people camping out, stock holders won't be getting terribly upset.A lot of that vitriol would be coming from stockholders if that was to happen as shares plummet.

Apple is building hardware for next year's iPhone model at its offices in Herzliya, Israel, and referring to it internally as the "iPhone 8," according to an employee there who spoke anonymously to Business Insider. The employee works on soldering components for Apple and gave vague references to how "different" the 2017 iPhone will be from the iPhone 7, which falls in line with rumors about the iPhone 8's radical redesign, without providing detailed information to add to the previous reports.
I don't buy it. This year was the same kind of story, the new iPhone will be iPhone 6se because it can't be iPhone 7 that should be radically different.
Yet we got the iPhone 7 (and I got it).
