Apple Event Announced for March 8: 'Peek Performance'

I might update the Ipad (I've had the same one for close to 8 years now) but I really wish we could get announcements on software improvements. I want Apple Music to be better and I was TVOS to get a make-over. Hell, just an update section where you can see all your app updates and what apps need updates and an update all button like what IOS and Mac has.

'Peek' as in... a sneak preview of something coming soon.
'Peak' as in... better than anything else.
'Performance' as in... CPU / GPU / Memory.

I'm starting to believe we'll see something more than just M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max.
Even the M2, because while it would qualify as 'Peek', it wouldn't qualify as 'Peak', because the M1 Pro and M1 Max are faster.
Maybe I'm just taking it too seriously ?

Looking at this it seems iMac 24" and MacBook Air updates looking at the colours with M2 and colour options on the Air, probably iPad Air and iPhone SE updates with colour options also. Not sure about anything 'Pro' related though maybe they'll offer the rumoured Mac Mini and an iMac Pro 27" in different colours?

People shouldn't be reading so much into the 'PEEK Performance' tagline, look at the colours in the logo more. And the only Pro device rumoured for an update is a possible new Mac Mini Pro.

As others said note the word PEEK not 'Peak', so don't go expecting any Pro Macs or devices I'd say, but you never know.

Black background says to me "Pro", and it's an apple with many "cores", so very fast, and "peek" can refer to the visual nature of an iMac Pro and also (hopefully) a "sneak peek" at an October Mac Pro, if not also their unannounced eyewear.

Funny thing is, with all the mac related possibilities, the main thing I want announced is the rumored new airpods pro. My current units are dying (battery keeps failing and they're out of warranty) so I want a new set but am waiting for the new ones to come out so I can decide which I prefer.

Apple chooses their words carefully so it when I see Peek Performance

Peek = a quick and/or brief look

Performance = effectiveness / speed of a system

So a quick look at speed stuffy to come in the future? Sounds like announcements for future stuff we won't even be able to pre-order yet.

The thing with Apple events in the past few years is to lower your expectations, that’s what I’ve learnt, otherwise you will end up disappointed each time. There’s people who always say they could release this or they could release that as a surprise and it rarely, if ever, happens.

Everything that’s already been rumoured will be announced and that’s it (with the usual possible exception). Anything that hasn’t been rumoured to be announced won’t be.

If you bought from an apple store you have 14 days to return it. Maybe see if the event has anything compelling to upgrade, if not the M1 MBP is a great machine.

Color matching MacBook Airs and iPads. $400 price increase to cover upping minimum ram to 16gb on base models, hopefully drive size too. The name will be changed from Air to something else to designate more power.

They are more likely to offer a 'peek' at the new Apple silicon Mac Pro, not an iMac Pro, IMO like they have done before.
