I have a concept. No new hardware. Instead release software that actually works.
I just ordered a 9th gen for my girlfriends mother too. The 9th gen was released last September, 10th gen will be released when they update the Pro's later in the year.Ordered an iPad (9th gen) Feb 3rd, it's scheduled to arrive Mar 22 - 29. Wonder if it's being updated as well.
Careful! Last time I joked about that I was admonished. Here we go! Let the insane speculation begin. Powerbook G5's?
Hardware and software come from completely different teams. Slowing down one won't improve the quality of the other. They might be able to move people from the iPhone software team to the Mac software team, but that is as far as it goes.I have a concept. No new hardware. Instead release software that actually works.
My first thought was this is a peek of what we got planned for 2022. You ain’t seen nothing yet analogy. But it could mean something visual that you look at, and Apple’s delayed external displays badly need to be released for people that need them. I hope this is not just about the updated iPad and iPhone models updates.Spec bumps.
Well this HAS to be the iCar announcement right. Powered by the M1 chip. Maybe AR glasses too. Maybe they’ll announce the M1 Apple II as well.
Good one!I have a concept. No new hardware. Instead release software that actually works.
I wish they would make the Mac Mini in colors also, but that will never happen. I really just want 32gb of RAM in a Mac Mini M1/M2.
Does it? So in your view, "peek" is a reference to the fact we will be seeing something (which would be the case for any keynote ever), rather than the fact a person sees through glasses (in which case "peek" is usually used to denote surreptitious glances and would therefore seem too close in this context to one of people's main concerns with augmented reality glasses)?Of course not. "Peek" implies we are going to "see" new Apple Glasses.
The room must've said, "Live life."
Not x-ray, but perhaps the Apple headset/glasses for AR/VR...Peek performance? Sounds like Apple X-ray glasses to me.
My secret hope is still that they will suprise us with like a D1 12 high performance cores and 48 gpu cores or so and decide Mx is mobile Dx is desktop.A sneak peek at the future ASi Mac Pro would be sweet...
"Peek", not "peak"...
One part of me says there will be no M2 until the initial transition is complete with M1 based SoCs...
Another part of me says Apple might just go straight to the M2 Max SoCs for the ASi Mac Pro...?
Yes, M1 Pro should be faster than base M2 SoC (excepting single core)...
14 day return window...?
A release is not a "peek"...
Possible sneak peek at a M2 Max powered ASi Mac Pro, with full preview at WWDC and release before end of 2022...?
Just "peek", no "peak" was mentioned...
Latest rumors had the 27" iMac (Pro) pushed out to mid-year...?
In person makes sense for WWDC, get the devs in to talk with all the Apple engineers and such...
For product releases, virtual seems way more appealing; and really gives Apple the opportunity to use all the different "locations" the Mothership provides...!
It is "peek" both on the digital invite & on the tweet from Greg Joswiak, so I think they knew which spelling/meaning they wanted...
Nah, more likely the Pippin 2.0 is headed our way...! ;^p
Using Google is hard...
I am going to guess that the MacBook air will be in the colors of that announcement logo.

They know everything that is being releasedI always wonder how much insight the marketing/graphic design team has when designing these assets. Do they already know everything that's being released?
