peek performance so M1 duo and Quad ?
A sneak peek at the future ASi Mac Pro would be sweet...
peak performance.... M2? M1 Max Duo Mac Pro? M2 pro/max?
"Peek", not "peak"...
One part of me says there will be no M2 until the initial transition is complete with M1 based SoCs...
Another part of me says Apple might just go straight to the M2 Max SoCs for the ASi Mac Pro...?
I presume an M1 Pro (base version) will still be faster than the M2, or am I wrong in thinking that?
Yes, M1 Pro should be faster than base M2 SoC (excepting single core)...
and I just bought an M1 Pro 😑
14 day return window...?
This name is huge! I think the full Mx Mac Pro will be released March 8! So exciting!!!! I also think it will be based on the M2 chip, not the M1.
A release is not a "peek"...
Possible sneak peek at a M2 Max powered ASi Mac Pro, with full preview at WWDC and release before end of 2022...?
'Peek' as in... a sneak preview of something coming soon.
'Peak' as in... better than anything else.
'Performance' as in... CPU / GPU / Memory.
I'm starting to believe we'll see something more than just M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max.
Even the M2, because while it would qualify as 'Peek', it wouldn't qualify as 'Peak', because the M1 Pro and M1 Max are faster.
Maybe I'm just taking it too seriously ?
Just "peek", no "peak" was mentioned...
No mention of the larger Apple Silicon iMac in this post? Is there speculation that they won't be announced? We've been waiting along time here.
Latest rumors had the 27" iMac (Pro) pushed out to mid-year...?
Given that the government has done a 180 over the past week, I wonder if WWDC will return to at least a partial in-person format, and if the iPhone/Apple Watch event will be in person. The virtual events are fine for Mac and iPad updates.
In person makes sense for WWDC, get the devs in to talk with all the Apple engineers and such...
For product releases, virtual seems way more appealing; and really gives Apple the opportunity to use all the different "locations" the Mothership provides...!
"Peek" rather than "Peak"? Did Apple get the word wrong?
It is "peek" both on the digital invite & on the tweet from Greg Joswiak, so I think they knew which spelling/meaning they wanted...
Looks like we're going to peek at a new colorful gaming computer from Apple with peak performance.![]()
Nah, more likely the Pippin 2.0 is headed our way...! ;^p
Did apple mean peak? Peek isn’t a word is it?
Using Google is hard...
