In 2007, Steve did this solo and live. In this presentation, he not only talked for half an hour about updates and Apple TV, but he also introduced the iPhone and did a bunch of live demos with this product that wasn't even ready to ship.

It was so exciting and fun!

"… and sliide it across [audience applauding, laughing] wanna see it again?"

And, one last thing……and we know you’re going to love it! We can’t wait to see what our users are going to be inspired to do and how it will open new doors to the ways they work, create and accomplish wonderful things. Things we’ve only dreamed of before! …………

…….. Even more than last year, in newer and more indescribable ways, the new iPhone is even MORE ready for Apple Intelligence! We love this and hope you will too!

Maybe they should’ve held back “awe dropping” until next year when we get the official price for the folding iPhone at the 2026 announcement. Maybe “jaw dropping” would be better actually.

Hey, maybe they'll announce storage increases for the free 5GB iCloud tier? You know, the one that hasn't been upgraded since its inception over 14 years ago?
Who am I kidding, we're still under the Tim Cook regime, so nothing groundbreaking, unexpected nor exciting will be announced. If there are any increases it'll be the prices. 🥱

Nope. They invite press to watch the pre-recorded video on a screen at Apple, and then go to a hands on area. It's beyond pathetic.
It really is. It absolutely surprises me that people are willing to go all the way there, just to watch a video on a screen.

Only way I awe-drop any money on them this year: None
I'm all good with my Apple stuff right now.

But I'm interested in and if they release a small Flip-phone.
But will wait for 2nd release to avoid the initial problems.
iPad mini 8 - will it have any larger updates, probably not - give it a M-chip, might buy it.

Thinnest ever iPhone? For sure. Lightest ever… I highly doubt that. The iPhone 5 was 112 grams.
