Yeah agree, not going to buy a 2500 dollar plastic screen I can (and will) damage with my fingernail.

It’s a plastic screen protector on top of ultra-thin glass.
In concept, it’s pretty much no different than people who stick plastic screen protectors, or those tempered glass screen protectors, on their already $1500+ phones.
