Using the Apple logo to suppress the sunlight, most likely about the variable aperture.

Ternus: Since the beginning of time, man has yearned to destroy the sun. We will do the next best thing, block it out.

Hope it's a real live event like before and not a recorded movie they've been doing for a long time now. Like they built a whole underground theater to not use it to unveil things?

It would be a better look for the new CEO to step out live on stage and welcome everyone to HIS company.

I will be sitting with my popcorn on the sidelines watching the internet lose their collective mind over the inevitable price increases.

I just saw a YouTube video about the recent kindle price increases and I’m amazed at how few regular people (even kind of plugged in tech adjacent people, even on MacRumors) are basically unaware of the current ram crisis. I think Apple’s event might be what forces that conversation into the mainstream. It’s going to be interesting.

hmmmm...there fixed that for you....
It will have a book-like design, and it will be around 5.5 inches when closed and 7.6 inches when open. It is wider than it is tall, and will be similar to using Galaxy Z Fold 8.

I guess it will be more or less same specs as the new Samsung. Not really like “wow”, it’s kind of just a copy coming out. Shame for Apple, Samsung came out first.

It’s a plastic screen protector on top of ultra-thin glass.
In concept, it’s pretty much no different than people who stick plastic screen protectors, or those tempered glass screen protectors, on their already $1500+ phones.
Except that “plastic screen protector” on top of ultra thing glass cannot be removed. I suggest familiarize yourself with what the inner screen will actually be like and the true lack of durability it has. JerryRigEverything just posted a video about the Samsung Z Fold 8 Ultra, although the screen is larger it still has the same tech. If you truly do plan on purchasing an “iPhone Ultra”, I highly recommend doing the research.

I wonder why Apple is even putting a camera on the inner screen of the “iPhone Ultra” if they aren’t using FaceID. When unfolded the main camera(s) are accessible as well as the main outer screen to view the photo being taken.
